No singing. And he was sometimes shirtless, although not as a monkey, IIRC. It was a cool production -- minimal staging and a lot of dancing, some of which made up for the lack of scenery -- they danced the yellow brick road in addition to the tornado and stuff. Good times.

Gah! There's a woman on WNTW that I just want to bitch slap! Nick gave her an awesome new haircut and all she's done is whine. "It's not my hair!" No and it's not supposed to be. It's supposed to be modern, attractive and flattering--everything your old haircut wasn't. Don't come on this show if you're not going to commit to the full effect.
Whoa, YES! I just watched this last night. She was such a sad sack it was uncomfortable to watch. What was up with the "my daughter is dating the men who should be dating me?" FREAKY! And then disinviting men to her reveal party? She clearly has some serious issues.

Sounds like on ANTM when the girls get their makeovers and there's always one who has a meltdown because they're cutting her hair. Honestly - it's not like this is a big surprise! and besides, they get a new look - it may not be what they're used to or like, but it's a cut by a ... well, famous, if not "top" ... stylist. It's hair - it grows out.

After last week I have officially given up on The Fashion Show. I just can't bring myself to care about the outcome, nor am I getting any joy out of the experience of watching.
Expedition Africa, OTOH, continues to be full of awesomecakes. I'm almost caught up now, and have Ep 3 on the DVR to watch tonight.

Oh yeah, that was No Joke. I'm reminded of the other crazy southern big-haired lady who freaked out until her husband loved the new hair! They should show those clips to the recalcitrant ones.
