Yeah, I thought Asuka's was very weak, but I definitely thought they made the right call.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I'm shocked that the judges gave up on their pet project, Tony, but I heartily approve. I'd bet we have Shankman to thank for it. That locking routine has Fred "Rerun" Berry somewhere turning over in his grave (assuming he is dead which could totally be not true, in which case he was kicking his TV and waiting for the pain to stop). And Paris should've never made the Top 20 in the first place. Natalie is somewhere wailing and gnashing her teeth.

Really, no one except Vitolio turned in a good DoD. (And once again Nigel can bite me. This is not a Miss Congeniality contest, it's a dance show and that fool can dance) Jonathan appears to be one of the weakest ballroom technicians they've ever had on the show. Karla was all "run, run, leap, HMV" and no substance. And poor Asuka fell victim to the same trying to be too sexy in singles dances that seems to plague all female ballroom dancers on this show (See also Anya and Lacey).

Loved the tango and I totally didn't twig to the fact that they were on that horrible Superstars of Dance show on NBC. Although, the S. African judge on that show was a fabulous bitch. I would love to see him and his jheri curl on this show.

I had a question about the opening group dance. Did anyone else think that the initial step by the guys looked a lot, if not exactly like the Vegas hip hop routine steps? It would make sense this early to save precious time and recycle any bits they already know, but Vegas was Nap/Tab and last night was Shane, so maybe I am wrong.

You know what I would like? I would like for them to re-use some good routines that did not get good performances. Like a couple completely does NOT turn it out - a few weeks later, or another season, we get to see it done awesomely.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

You know what I want to see? I want to see Colicchio competing in TC:M. Just a thought.

That said, OMGLOVE. I loved the dessert challenge, I loved the dorm room challenge. I can't wait to see what happens next week.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I would love to see him and his jheri curl on this show.

Right? If he could just guest judge one week, I'd be happy.

SYTYCD is the same production company as AI, right?

It seems so much less tapped into marketing. Their site is just not very good. Under recaps, there is location for the music to be listed, but it is not updated and as far as I can tell does not link to itunes/artist's pages to get the music. I know it is a dance show, but that would be great cross promotion for the artists they use. The actual recap section does not include anything from the last 2 eps!!!

information libertarian

msbelle, this site does music recaps of each show, usually with a link to download. They don't go up immediately, but are good. [link]

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Ryan Kasprzak posted on facebook this morning that he's trying out for season 6 today. they need to be giving him a ticket directly to Vegas like they did Phillip this year.
