Supermodel: I'm confused. If Salome has such a horribly fat body, why does she win the photo shoots that involve no/minimal clothes? I can understand the judges' issues with her catwalk abilities, but she can take a photo better than anyone else in the past two seasons.
Here's hoping she'll take their advice and practice her walk 24/7 to break it big in the business.
I really thought that Sandhurst was toast tonight. He suffers from the same "big ass" problem that Salome has, but since his is firmer, he gets away with it, even though the clothes don't fit just as much as with her.
Well, since I have no TiVo, I'm watching and working.

Seriously. Of course, it's not that she's fat all over, just that she has that enormous 38-inch ass. Approx the size of my waist.
I think the comparisons among the guys is interesting -- Branden being skinny and more "European," Sandhurst being generally "too big" for a model, but knowing how to move, Jonathan kind of riding the middle physically, but taking good pictures.
Oh, in American Idol news, I heard someone on some show this morning say something about Adam Lambert "redefining" masculinity in rock music, or some shit. This after a night when he performed with Queen AND Kiss? Granted, I haven't seen much of the kid, but he didn't seem to be creating anything new to me.

The only thing he's really creating, or rather, redefining, is the range of material that an artist is "supposed" to be covering based on their appearance or background. This guy has rare range and knows how to work it to maximum effect all while keeping a core signature look. It's pretty mind-boggling in this day and age of the pre-packaged pop tart.

I think they really want a man to win this season is part of it.
I agree. I don't think Mountaha has a prayer in hell.

I'm pretty sure that signature look is what kept him from winning, because he can seriously sing rings around Kris Allen. Not that I don't like Kris, he's a very competent and accessible singer and find his music enjoyable, but I will buy Adam's first album unheard where I probably won't by Kris's. And Adam's the first Idol I've ever wanted to buy an album before it's out.
I don't think it helped that EW basically outed Adam on its cover. But I have no doubt that Kris picked up the majority of Gokey votes.
And I'm fine either way. They both seem like good guys and I think they both can sing, but have very different styles.
I generally lose interest in seeing reality show contestants once the contest is over (see also SYTYCD), but I think I would actually go see Adam in concert or a show.

Yeah, I think that's pretty key.
