They're both very different types of performers. Both of whom I'd love to listen to at any time depending on the mood I'm in. I'd love to have a blues/rock album by Adam and a folk/rock album by Kris. It's a shame one has to win, because I consider them both winners at what they're best at.

two hour finale?? Why the hell?

Isn't it always two hours?

Watching DWTS now for the first finale ever, rooting for the fellow Iowa girl. Not sure where Lady Gaga fits in. At least she sang "Just Dance" instead of "Poker Face," I guess.

I don't know I can't remember. I pretty much never pay attention to results shows and just pay attenion when it's time to say who is voted off or in this case wins.

But ooh Thursday SYTYCD starts, I always like that better than American Idol.

Definitely looking forward to seeing a full season of SYTYCD--I just got hooked on it halfway through the last season.

Also watched Idol (second ep I ever watched; last week was the first). Adam was definitely better in comparison to Kris overall. My initial reaction to hearing Kris do "What's Goin' On" was that he made it pretty, not passionate, which is basically what Simon said. I thought Adam did a better job with the Sam Cooke number, as well as that final song, which isn't a good song, but I liked his arrangement better.

AI: I pretty much agree that they went into the final song even. I'm not sure who did a better job with it. It was so bad. At first I thought that Adam was off melody, but then Kris sang and sounded flat, so I guess the melody just sucked.

I want Adam to win, but I think they're both fine choices.

One thing I like about this year is that they both seem like really nice decent guys and both seem like they really love music. Maybe that's partly the schtick of the show, but it seems genuine. Joking at the end, "THIS guy!"

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

That is a really bad coronation song.

Okay the Finale is actually interesting, the Bikini Girl thing, I was like oh oh oh god no but then Kara came on and that was cool. Just seeing Bikini Girl's face when Kara outsang her.

I've only been tuning in occasionally, so I missed the bikini girl sing-off. I gotta say, they're getting some stellar duets out of this show.
