Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was happy with either on ANTM.

Yeah, mostly I just didn't care. Although they did a decent job across the hour of making me think it wouldn't be Teyona (sp?) a couple of times.

Thrive to spite them

So, Adam sounded great in the clip of him singing the national anthem and I think it would be great if he did that on stage rather than always going for the high note.

Also, it's not just the To 24 or 36 or whatever that are bound by rules, almost anyone who signs up to be on the show signs some of their rights away. From an earlier season (I don't know which, maybe the first or second?) there was a chick who rode on a scooter, nicknamed Scooter Girl. I don't think she made it to the 24, but the scooter company wanted to use her for promotions and she couldn't because 19E refused.

Adam and Kris final! I was hoping for that. It would be interesting if Kris managed to sneak in and win the whole thing after all the talk being Danny and Adam.

Ooh! MMaSM shocker!

I've been wondering how the judging was so varied within each episode -- I guess I forgot that the photographer picks the photo winner. Salome is more of an 80s supermodel type, don't you think? What with having actual flesh and all. And that's just not what they are looking for/expecting to see on the runway, I mean catwalk.

Because books.

If Peru (or however you spell it) is still a judge next season, I can't watch again. He's not even fun to loathe. He's just a complete fucktard, imo.

But yes, shocker! Clearly she didn't see that coming either.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

That was a complete shocker on MMaSM!! And you can tell that the other three models were floored when Jonathan and Salome came back without Jordan.

I think the judges had a good point when they said that Salome has just the one expression, albeit a good one. Brandon suffers from the same problem, but I find his look less compelling. They both lucked out by being able to maneuver those shoe-skates.

I really don't like Jonathan's new look. But, Mountaha looks fabulous!

so this whole "not winning means they'll be less restricted" business is bunk.

it is now, but it was true a while back.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Who was booted on MMaSM? My satellite cut out at the last bit.

The going-home trips always make me sniffly. Imagine going away and coming back to your city a few months later to a PARADE. Surreal.

My sister had to go to the Gokey one in Milwaukee on Friday to take Marvin Hamlisch (pops conductor for the symphony) there. They hired him to do the introduction because someone had it in their head that he had been one of the arrangers/mentors for the show in a past season. Whoever they were thinking of, Hamlisch himself had never even heard of the show and was very confused. But there were a bunch of Packers there so she was happy enough to go.

I was totally surprised by MMaSM! But glad, because I like Salome. Still, though! I was also hella surprised that after all those pictures of Jonathan (though, maybe it wasn't as many as they edited the episode to make it seem) he didn't get so many. I was really hoping they don't kick him off. Though, at this point, I figure he'll do fine even if he doesn't win, seriously. I mostly want to know that he does OK and ends up being able to pay the rent!!!
