I was totally surprised by MMaSM! But glad, because I like Salome. Still, though! I was also hella surprised that after all those pictures of Jonathan (though, maybe it wasn't as many as they edited the episode to make it seem) he didn't get so many. I was really hoping they don't kick him off. Though, at this point, I figure he'll do fine even if he doesn't win, seriously. I mostly want to know that he does OK and ends up being able to pay the rent!!!
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I call bullshit that they couldn't find any pictures of him. I also couldn't believe they got rid of Jordan.
They had multiple pictures in the final six of just girls, just in underpants, so clearly they decided to "go a different way" with the shoot...
Survivor! Yay JT!
oh ... fyi, the new season for So You Think You Can Dance starts Thursday ... at least in my time zone.
I may need someone to come over and hold my hand because i am going to be a blubbering mess when he performs.
I don't think I've ever seen the first episode of ANTM. Wow, the judging was a lot more subdued.
Scrappy, I am YAYING right there with you!
I marathoned much of it on Sunday while I was working at home.
I was amazed at how much the production level had gone up, but the quality of original contestants was pretty high. They totally blended into that final runway show. Plus, great mix of characters.
Although perhaps more subdued, I thought what they showed of the judging was way more interesting, especially when it came to Robin's and Elyse's respective weights.
Of course, I've only seen the latest season and the last part of the Amsterdam one, so that's all I have to compare it to.
Side note: From what I could tell, the reason they couldn't find Jim Morrison's grave was that they were in the wrong cemetery.
And wow, Miss J was substantially less flamboyant. And not identified as Miss.
