Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

ANTM - I was hoping for Celia to make it into the top three. I figured she couldn't win - she's too "old" (25 is, what - 55 in model years?). But the girl really knew fashion. I'm not really rooting for anyone at this point - they've gotten rid of the bitches and some of the more interesting people. Allison's odd, but it was interesting to see how long she kind of coasted on photographing well and then, suddenly, she "got" it (something in the air in Sao Paolo?). eh ... time will tell.

And sometimes I get impatient with the girls getting over-emotional about something, until I remember how YOUNG they are - they're all, I think, under 20. I kind of remember being that age ....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I like Tom!

Seriously -- I think the 25 year olds at work are impossibly young!

Which reminds me of Branden on MMaSM, who graduated from high school and went right on the show, and it's kind of catching up with him. Poor noodle.

I want to feed him soup and pet his head. I mean, he's gorgeous, but mostly I just want to mother him.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am just so glad we got rid of Amanda, especially once she told America that she walks around naked so her son won't turn out gay.

excuse me--So her son won't turn out like gay.

I deleted the ep, so I can't go find it, but I swear I heard her say that.

Perkins is correct. She really did say that.

meara - May 07, 2009 5:52:06 am PDT #8926 of 23273

Yeah, I boggled at that one. I was like "Sweetie, you walking around naked is not going to help that one. Hell, it might make your son MORE GAY!!!"

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good god. I haven't watched the ep yet so I'll stay alert for that. Jesus.

Because books.

I missed it, too, but I usually don't pay attention when Amanda is speaking, so.
