Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Rewatching Adam this morning, he was doing this little lip curl in his performance and now I really want to see him in a pompadour and white jumpsuit doing Elvis. Am I bad and wrong?

I've thought the same thing many a time.

I wonder if Adam being in the bottom last week is why he went first tonight. It was sad how much the quality dropped off as they went on. I've never liked Danny very much, but that was atrocious.

One of my coworkers is a big Danny fan and she can't stand Adam's voice and she was mad that AI opened with Adam and Allison's solos and then closed with their duet, which she felt put Kris, and especially Danny in a bad light.

I think Danny should have gone more along the lines of Bon Jovi or John Mellencamp or stayed with some song that was in his range. Another theory from work is that Danny probably isn't that familiar with Rock as a genre (or at the very least performing) which accounted for his awkwardness on stage. flea you are not wrong. And in an earlier performance he had a bit of a pompadour and did the lip curl and it was very early Elvis.

Because books.

I think Danny should have gone with Bob Seger. And Kris with Bad Company.

I was not expecting that. I was completely prepared (if heartbroken) for Danny to go home.

Three boys in the finals. Has that ever happened before?

At least she's AutoToned or whatever it's called and lip synching so we didn't have to hear real signing.

I'm not sure what to think of No Doubt. Gwen wasn't lip synching but that was kinda..bad.

And...well... I was hoping against hope for another result.

Heee. Yeah, I almost changed the channel, but I was too lazy.

Awwww, Allison is going home. I'm sad, but I figured it would be her or Danny tonight. I wish she could still get the hometown parade, though, I think she really deserves it.

Ya know, I'm pretty damn sure she is going to have a very succesful recording career, nonetheless. God, she can give Joplin a run for her money.

I thought it was her or Kris tonight.

I hope she has a hell of a career, she's got an amazing voice. I know she got harped on for having no personality but both when she was singing and when she was doing the interview stuff I kept forgetting she was 16, well now she's 17.
