And there have definitely been teams in the past who learned stuff from books in the airport -- they always have time sitting around, so why not use it.
EXACTLY. Or if you don't want to bother getting releases from people, buy a cheapo phrase book.

Remember, we're seeing a highly edited version of what they do, so all four teams could be chattering away in bunches of situations that we never see.
I felt bad for Kisha -- all the teams are hitting their breaking points, which was last week for Jen, and Luke and Margie too. And arguably T&V's bad attempts at the diving were also symptomatic.
(And points to Tammy for thinking ahead and taking swimming lessons. I bet she also brushed up on her stick shift skills....)
Is this the only season where the final four teams are all blood relatives? I find myself liking all of them, though some more than others. :-)
I didn't think the cheerleaders were blood relatives. Although, that might explain a lot.
Oh, damn, you're right. I was thinking of Mel and Mike, and the stuntmen brothers. D'Oh!
The cheerleaders just have the same hair color.
same bottle.
Awesome. One of the Jade episodes of ANTM is on Oxygen right now.
Aw, I'm enjoying standards night on Idol! Kris was great -- I think he's a real dark horse in this.
I am, I think, finally over Simon. I used to enjoy him, but now every word out of his mouth seems designed to showcase his own savviness, his own cynicism.
I ... may have caught on a little late, I know.
I like Simon in small doses. I wish they'd go back to having only two of them evaluate per song.
I love Danny and Adam, tonight. Matt should be going this week.
See, Adam is just way too ... Vegas for me, or something. He's got a fabulous voice, but the calculated way he performs leaves me cold.
I loved Kris and Danny (Danny! so good!). And I thought Allison really sold that song -- I think that was her best performance in weeks.
