Because books.

Oh wait. What I meant to say was eat it, cheerleaders.

Oh yeah. And the pouting? Not attractive.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

TAR was preempted by weather here, did the cheerleaders get the boot?

Art Crawl!!!

Nope. It was "to be continued" - just when the Cheerleaders thought that they FINALLY won a leg.

I want them out of there.

And I'm very happy that Kisha and Jen finished the task.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Even better -- they're going on and on about how they've never been team number one, hit the mat, and Phil says, "This leg is not over -- keep racing!"

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, and I watched episode 1 of "Leader of the Pack". Man. Picture a family of five - getting their first dog by introducing 8 dogs into their home and gradually voting off a dog at a time.

Meaning that while they are in the process - they go from no dogs to a pack of young dogs in their house.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm over Margie & Luke. Margie's "They were making fun of the way he communicates!" speech would be a whole lot more compelling if she'd ever bothered to learn one word of the local language in ANY of the places they'd traveled to. (That goes for all the teams, including T&V - how hard is it to grab someone on the plane and learn Hello, Please and Thank You???)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

no shit.

I would have memorized common words in the top 10 languages of the world before I left on TAR.

And there have definitely been teams in the past who learned stuff from books in the airport -- they always have time sitting around, so why not use it.

EXACTLY. Or if you don't want to bother getting releases from people, buy a cheapo phrase book.
