Oh yeah -- I couldn't bring up what her name was, but Maggie felt wrong. Margie, Maggie, pretty much the same.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
My brain was apparently trying to split the difference because I'd originally read it as "Margie" which didn't look quite wrong enough for me to notice!
I already have huge prior love for both Whites and had been all bummed that I missed out on the start of TAR. I'm so happy to know they're still in it!
My housemate and I were talking over much of TAR. Did the cheerleaders do something particularly obnoxious this episode?
They went into Ugly American mode screaming at their taxi driver, who did manage to disappear on them with all their luggage in the trunk, so I could understand them freaking out a bit.
Yeah, but they were totally obnoxious with him from the get-go. They are just so snotty and bitchy.
Freaking out when they thought he was gone with their stuff, I can understand, but then they should have stopped yelling at the driver, once they found each other.

See I haven't gotten that from them at all. I was just saying last night that they are normally the type of team that I wouldn't like, but that they didn't seem the typical cheerleaders type. Of course, it's their love of Luke and his Mom that really helps in that regard.
Also, as Kathy said, if I was on a race and couldn't find my taxi driver who had all my stuff, I would freak out too.
And, we've certainly seen a lot worse behavior in India than I saw from anyone last night.
I don't know, maybe it's a YMMV issue, but they've been rubbing me the wrong way for the past couple weeks.

I wonder if I missed the really bad part, because I would have been pretty pissed off if my cab driver had wandered off with my luggage! Their reaction didn't strike me as over the top.
