I don't know, maybe it's a YMMV issue, but they've been rubbing me the wrong way for the past couple weeks.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Freaking out when they thought he was gone with their stuff, I can understand, but then they should have stopped yelling at the driver, once they found each other.
I wonder if I missed the really bad part, because I would have been pretty pissed off if my cab driver had wandered off with my luggage! Their reaction didn't strike me as over the top.
No, I was annoyed with them way before that happened.
Yeah, my mileage is with Nora's. I think I was already annoyed at them, so I feel like their reaction this episode just exacerbated that feeling.
I think I started to dislike them with the attempted misdirect for the confusing stuntmen airline call from taxi to taxi. Although if they wanted to do that and had been savvier, they really could have messed with them; told them they had to go to a different location or to ask for something else. But it just dropped in their laps, so they didn't have time to dream up anything truly nefarious.
Am I the only one who does not like Luke?
I think Luke's kind of a dick sometimes.
Why don't you like him, msbelle? I'm just curious cause I think he and his mom have played very well so far.
I think they have played well. I think he is a bit drama filled and really not so nice.

There's definitely that part of him. But mostly I like him okay, and they've been racing well which makes up for a lot.
Oh yeah, he's not so nice. I'm OK with that, possibly because his deafness keeps it in check -- or at least, keeps how much we see it in check. He would totally be yelling, "So long, SUCKERS!" out the window.
