I think I remember hearing something about Bourdain wanting too much money, but that could have been speculation on our part.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Toby's main focus seems to be getting the snarkiest soundbite. Eh.
I would love to have Bourdain back. Hell, I'd love to have Ted back, at this point.
Looks like it could be a good season on Survivor. I can't believe Kathy didn't try to set up camp. Although I have to say that Kathy may be crazy, but Coach is a total dick (a renaissance dick. at that), which does not go over well usually.
You mean Sandy?
She's definitely getting the crazy edit - it's always hard to tell how much of that is based on reality, but from what I've seen so far I don't think I'd want to get on a bus she was driving.
Coach cracks me up with his samurai warrior delusions. I hope he doesn't get voted off too soon because he is HILARIOUS in his ginormous toolishness.
I missed the whole last season of Survivor. Gabon, I think? Was it worth buying a season pass? For a survivor addict like me?
I have no prblema paying $2 for last night's episode, plus the next couple of eps that I will miss because of work.
Oops, Sandy.
I thought Gabon was a great season, Sean. Does CBS.com not have past seasons streaming online?
Ooh. I should check CBS.com first. Don't know how well it will work with my Mac, but it's worth a try.
Gabon was full of blindsidy-goodness.
Gabon was really funny, IIRC.
