If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I don't think that anybody but Leah could have gone home. She was absolutely the weakest chef of the four. Although I will say that if the salmon had been overcooked by anyone but Stefan, it would have been a dealbreaker. I suspect that Tom advocated hard for Stefan. They are made from the same mold.

She was last week too, and it didn't seem to help Jamie any. So glad they came to their senses this week. But Hosea, yeah, he's getting on my last nerve too.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm not sure about that - given the choice, I'd rather eat an overcooked piece of salmon than an undercooked egg.

(But I agree with you that Tom was probably pushing for him to stay.)

I'm really looking forward to the Fabio-ism montage during the reunion show. They could probably fill an entire act with "It's Top Chef, not Top []" one liners alone.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I would have been SO MAD if Stefan went home instead of Leah. 1) I actually like Stefan and 2) Leah sux.

Man, I was so relieved that Fabio stepped it up and how! Way to justify my love, Awesome McFunnyPants!

I just about died laughing when Carla did her tortoise impression though. She seems incredibly focused right now, I hope she's here till the end.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I wonder if Stefan has kind of hit a wall, because he's been having more problems lately, it seems to me.

I don't know if he's hit a wall, I think that he's gotten WAY overconfident, so he's not doing as well. Overcooking the salmon is a rookie move.

You would have thought he'd have learned his lesson after getting beat by whashername in the "All Stars" episode. I guess he probably chalked it up to the audience.

I'll also add, that I wanted Leah to go as well. I was just surprised that Stefan was so close to going as well. And feeling a twinge of scheudenfraude. That said, I definitely want Hosea gone next. A Carla, Fabio and Stefan final three would be pretty awesome.

Oh, yes please. Hosea's condescending douchenozzlery is getting on my last nerve.

Punishingly Intricate

I was just surprised that Stefan was so close to going as well.

I think what saved him was that the flavors of the dish were good, right? (When they were actually eating it was cut off in my recording.) That's what saved Leah last week and sent Jaimie home.

Art Crawl!!!

I did actually think that Stefan might be eliminated this week and I thought that it might be the right thing to do - as much as I wanted either Leah or Hosea to go. (Seriously, Leah should have been gone ages ago.)

I'm so happy that Fabio and Carla did so well. It will be interesting to see how everyone does after getting to go back home and rest and plan.

Hosea's condescending douchenozzlery is getting on my last nerve.

I'm also annoyed that his "gotta beat the Euros" has devolved to "gotta beat Stefan". Not that the "beat the Euros" wasn't annoying as well; it's the fact he doesn't see Fabio as competition anymore that's really galling. Also, WRONG LIKE WRONG THING THAT IS WRONG! as last night proved.
