Punishingly Intricate

I believe it was before seeing George Winston at the Kennedy Center. It was one of my early dates with M1. Apparently, we had decided to act like 50-year-olds that night.

I read "Winston" as "Clinton" and was like "that is a DREAM DATE!"

ABDC: I can't believe Fly Khicks are still in at the cost of Ringmasters and we're not going to get to see Ringmasters do magic

I know. I don't like the Fly Khicks. Although the Ringmasters kind of creeped me out with the wierd body stuff, I thought that they were better.

George Clinton totally gave me the eye one time. I was at the 9:30 Club to see him, waiting in line, and he happened to get off the bus right where I was standing. He was shaking hands and walking through the crowd, he saw me, stopped and shook my hand and said hello before he was ushered off. My friend Sam looked at me and said "George Clinton just totally checked you out!" I said "yeah, for a second I thought that I might get invited backstage, but he probably wouldn't have let me bring you" He replied "I would have killed you if you had said no" That's a good friend.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

George Clinton has been called many things. Stupid isn't one of them.

Sweet! Heck yeah you would have had to go!

A friend of mine made hats for him back in the 90s.

Is that what the kids were calling it back then?

Art Crawl!!!

Jockeys: Oh that was fun. I'm going to watch it again. They picked a nice cross section of jockeys AND we get to see Zenyatta.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ABDC: I can't believe Fly Khicks are still in at the cost of Ringmasters and we're not going to get to see Ringmasters do magic. But I have to say they put on a pretty good show last night. Overall, though, I think all the lame dances were still lame dances. Funny, though! And Quest Crew's stall...what? That was amazing.

That's pretty much all I was going to say. But I do love the diversity of the crews this season - it's living up the ads before the first season much better than in the last two seasons.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, I forgot about the jockeys! I need to set my tivo.

Yeah, I agree about the diversity. It's one of the things that really surprised me and I just love. I used to say that when I taught a dance seminar, how cool it was that everybody dances, pretty much. I've never been able to come up with a culture group that doesn't, so it's awesome to see that represented in the different styles and influences in this particular more limited genre.
