Oh yeah! That was weird.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Yeah, that was bizarre. I thought that the show was back and then we went right to another ad. Very strange.
Tom's reaction to Kathie Lee spitting out Jeff's ... whatever that was, was pretty priceless, though.
Served him right too after his assy remark in the back about those "women" and their unsophisticated palates. Jerkoff.
Is Bravo doing this with all of their shows now, or did they just not know how to work the Leah/Hosea thing into the main show?
They've done two Leah/Hosea ones now and then last week they had one about the dude with the weird facial hair being a messy eater and Jamie's disgust with him. I guess they are trying to work in more contestant "drama" now or something?
Oh! The very best moment was Jeff at 2 a.m., commenting on Tom coming into the room all in black, like Johnny Cash.
Oh, one thing I remember about Eugene is that he was asked what the difference between sashimi and sushi was and he didn't answer the question properly. I suppose he was rattled. Well, I hope that was the problem because as a sushi chef he really should have known the answer!
I really didn't like this ep. I didn't think that it was a Top Chef challenge. Now, it may have been what some of the chefs aspire to, but this wasn't about cooking. And the show is about cooking. (and winning, according to Tom)
He answered as if the question was which is better, rather than what the difference was. Nervous rather than ignorant would be my take.
Irritated at their comments that Fabio was such a natural in the demo when they couldn't be bother to, you know, show any of it.

It looked to me like he was thrown by having to talk and cook at the same time. Like you, I really HOPE that's the case, because it's not exactly a trick question.

It sounded either like he was rattled by the format or like they edited it oddly. It seemed kind of jumpy.

That was my reaction too. it was just odd, from someone who is usually more together.
