Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Does this point in the season always get so sucky and one-sided?

Usually, yeah. Especially when they're in a location where there isn't a lot of fruit to eat, winning one food reward puts you in a better position to win the next one and it kind of snowballs.

Swapping tribe members around is supposed to help with that, but the new Fang is even crappier than the original!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So true! I am liking Kenny, who was scrappier in this challenge thanI had seen in a while. And I am glad Sugar is less in Ace's spell. What the hell is his accent? Sometimes it sounds Aussie and sometimes Yorkshire and sometimes USian and ALWAYS smarmy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Scrappy, that is a totally awesome story! I love to hear stuff like that about shows I love.

Just catching up, so on PR, which I was trying to save to watch with the SO, but could not wait any longer! Blargh. I knew Leanne was going to win from the early shots of her collection. Which is another reason why I hated the two parter finale. Most of the suspense for me was in seeing the final collections. So having the show & the winner separated out was kind of meh for me.

Anyway I loved Korto's collection and think it's a shame she didn't win. Her design aesthetic is much more original than Leanne's, I think. Leanne's clothing was constructed basically in the normal way, just with added petals. I think it turned out lovely, but there wasn't as much that was genuinely innovative. Whereas Korto's cultural infusion brought something interesting and different to the table.

What do they mean by, overdesigned? Has stuff on it? I didn't really understand that distinction.

I wish Leanne had expanded the idea of her petals instead of making them all so consistent. If you think about waves and how some are slow and long and some are short and choppy, I think there are lots of things she could have done with that same theme, with the same base, but been lots more original. I did like her color palette when seen all together.

Nothing to say about Kenley. Nothing. Except maybe you should have checked your attitude earlier because it was the right thing to do, instead of because the person you were smarting off to was going to be a judge. Oh, I forgot you get pissy with the judges, too. Whatever. And I liked you early! Hmph.

Oh, and I cheered to see Shannon, too, yay!

Okay, on Amazing Race: So sorry for the geeks departure, not sorry for this week's. Loved Phil's dad, and loved loved the Maori warriors' dance.

The haka!! I've watched too much behind-the-scenes stuff on LotR, because that's where I first heard about it. Combine that with YouTube videos of the NZ rugby team's doing a haka before games, and I'm all up on well-done hakas.

Art Crawl!!!

TAR: I can't believe how big the time spread is amongst the teams - more than 9 hours at the start.

I liked that leg. Although, I cannot believe that the divorcees actually thought that they were in first place. What made them think that?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It seemed like they did a lot of different things, somehow, although it couldn't have been any more than any other leg, could it?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

It was a very confusing episode with them racing and passing each other and changing the lead order.

Yeah, they kept on seeing each other. I thought that was kind of fun.

I can't believe how often Tina (?) walked through that whisper chamber.
