Yeah, I definitely took Terri's reaction to Joe as a kind of exasperated, "What does a sister have to do to get a win?" kind of thing. Although it does seem that Korto and Terri are close and Korto doesn't seem to really like Joe all that much. So maybe they just don't like him.
At any rate, I still love Terri. I would be in heaven with a Terri, Korto, Jerrel final three, but I don't think it'll happen.
kat p, did you see that msbelle is looking for you in Beep Me?
I actually rather like Kenley.
Her clothes, yes. Her? Not so much. She is extremely opinionated, and her taste (yes, I know) is in question. I bring your attention to the (hideous) print that she wanted Keith to use in the Lipstick Jungle challenge.
Also, I didn't notice Terri this time, but Kenley does the bitch-face extrodinaire on pretty much every runway panel.
So maybe they just don't like him.
Lord knows I don't!

She'll never top the laughing fit at Daniel dragging out his "impecable taste."
I think that was the final straw for me. She acted like she was his friend, but then she laughed at him. I mean, god knows it was laughable, but she didn't even seem to be trying to hide it.
Why does everyone dislike Joe?
Why does everyone dislike Joe?
I don't like him for two reasons - he got really bitchy at Daniel for using his sewing machine even though there were several not being used at the time. Also, he's made snide comments about the gay designers. Plus, he was a complete wimp with Korto on her outfit last week until Tim came over and made a negative comment, then he totally agreed with Tim.
wait, that was three reasons. Still valid!

These are the main two reasons I don't like him.
I really loved Joe's drag outfit. It was made of win, and it really fit well, both literally and in character. I was glad that he took advice from his client, because the end product was just perfect.
I think that failing to take advice from Tim is a bigger fail than belatedly taking advice. I could see where he might have been thinking that, but doubted himself until Tim verified it. I think Joe lacks some basic confidence in his design.
Not defending the snide comments about the gay designers.
That kimono was so completely amazing. Whoever said it was an art piece was just dead on. That was over the top in all the right ways, and it really worked for the particular client, too. It was gorgeous, and flattering, and just out there, but without being a hot mess. Very nice.
I loved the flames, too, and I loved how happy the client was. You really got the joy of the whole thing just emanating from that runway strut. Chris' advice about the poufy thing was perfect, too. Really added to the drama of the garment.
