Also, he's made snide comments about the gay designers. Plus, he was a complete wimp with Korto on her outfit last week until Tim came over and made a negative comment, then he totally agreed with Tim.
These are the main two reasons I don't like him.
I really loved Joe's drag outfit. It was made of win, and it really fit well, both literally and in character. I was glad that he took advice from his client, because the end product was just perfect.
I think that failing to take advice from Tim is a bigger fail than belatedly taking advice. I could see where he might have been thinking that, but doubted himself until Tim verified it. I think Joe lacks some basic confidence in his design.
Not defending the snide comments about the gay designers.
That kimono was so completely amazing. Whoever said it was an art piece was just dead on. That was over the top in all the right ways, and it really worked for the particular client, too. It was gorgeous, and flattering, and just out there, but without being a hot mess. Very nice.
I loved the flames, too, and I loved how happy the client was. You really got the joy of the whole thing just emanating from that runway strut. Chris' advice about the poufy thing was perfect, too. Really added to the drama of the garment.
I like the way Kenley looks so much that I get distracted from not liking her personality/work.
It's Kherrington syndrome!

This may be my issue as well! Also, I empathisized too much with her when people were making fun of her laugh. That's happened to me!

Ha! This is true! I love her personal style. I wish I had an aesthetic like that.
The only designers that I really like are Stella, Jerrel, and Terri. Korto seems to be talented, but she also has almost permanent stank face and seems a little humorless, so I can't say I really like her. I don't care about Joe enough to dislike him, but I do think he did a shitty thing to Korto and his bratty moment with Daniel over the sewing machines was ridiculous. The comment about too many queens in the workroom didn't really ping me as it seemed to me that he was trying to be funny, but missed the mark.

The one where an overly toothy grin makes you wanna choke a bitch?
ION, I am loving Tabitha's Salon Take Over. Very Kitchen Nightmares for hair.
Hmph.
Hee! I couldn't resist.
Daniel always looks greasy and in need of a shower (for all his "good taste"). They are cute together.
Not liking Joe is like a light switch. He never says anything overtly offensive, but once you realize he's kind of a whiny douchebag, everything that comes out of his mouth confirms it. Kenley, too: she's got a great look, but is really kind of boring and catty.
