Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

As Tim pointed out (but the judges did not, as far as I could tell) these women do not all have traditional women's bodies. Not just the swimmers, but think of any track and field athlete, especially those in the throwing events, or something like judo, which I believe is in the summer games.

This is one of the compelling things about Korto's top, actually, that arm and shoulder fittings for that group have got to be a herculean task. Also thighs, another plus for her look.

Punishingly Intricate

I may be going crazy, but I kind of liked Blayne's look this week. I don't know, the one shoulder, the way the stripes were positioned . . . I thought it was fun. It looked like something Charlie's Angels would wear to kick major amounts of Olympic ass.

Me too! I kind of thought he'd be a contender for top 3.

I think Michael Kors at least talked about them having athletic, muscular bodies.

I was waiting for this to happen, and now that it has I think I can stop watching.

Hahahah. I wonder if I can? Really I have it on while doing something labor intensive on the computer, like uploading all my Vegas pictures. I don't need to pay attention to it at all.

I also did not get the point of the guest judge. Surely they could have found a woman Olympian.

Trust my rage

I"m just happy I did not have to listen to Suede this week. And that Jennifer is gone.

Fuck, I love Shane Sparks stuff. We needed a hell of a lot more of it this year.

Now that's how you put it down. No storyline. No "lyrical hip hop". Just hard hitting goodness. All the kids looked great, even Kherington! Though I could've done with more Mark myself (but when couldn't I?).

Bollywood. Good choice, Nigel.

Courtney/Gev Rhumba, also a great choice.

That kid Robert is insane. And he destroyed Phillip. I'd still like to see Phillip on the show some day. I hope he comes back and tries out again next season.

Bring on the favorite dancers from seasons past! Also, if I don't get to see at least one Mark/Chelsie routine tonight, I will be very unhappy.

ETA: Aww, Shankdaddy kinda let me down with his pick. I mean, that Twitch/Comfort piece was cute, I guess. But there are so many others I'd rather have seen.

Ha! I love me some L'il C. And he picked Marksie's Bleeding Love!!! Hell yeah!
