Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Josh and Courtney – That was awful. So, so sloppy. Sloppy feet, sloppy arms. Ugh. I did not like it.

Yes. I thought they looked like they were moving through mud.

Mia Dance? Loved shirtless men in kilts, but I really did not like that dance at all.

I put in several votes for Katee and several for Joshua. Either of them would make me happy.

What does NOT make me happy???? Due to a pre-season Bears game, I won't get the finale show until 11pm tomorrow!!! Booo!!!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Okay. Can I take Josh home and lick him all over?

sure, right after I'm done ;)

I actually liked the number. maybe because I liked the music. The costumes were a little cracked out, though.

Art Crawl!!!

PR: I love that we can actually see Blayne getting paler.

I thought that either Korto or Terri could have won and I'd be happy. (I do think that the outfits that were white with blue and red trim were better looking than the others - in general.)

Shear Genius - they FINALLY sent Nekesa home. FINALLY.

I liked them both. I thought that Korto would win because hers was more modern and simple. Also, the sleeveless top on Terri's model was a little too tight, I think. I'm not sure why so many of the designers tried to do a retro look.

Art Crawl!!!

I thought it was a combination of their usual tendencies and the fact that they'd just been to the track and field museum.

'Til we dance away...

I was pleased with the PR outcome. Jennifer just wasn't getting it, and she was so bland I had to just look up her name. Her ending statment about hoping that her surrealism left a mark on the show or something was just funny. I saw a lot of frumpy and not a lot of surreal. Also, awkward that her outfit tonight looked a lot like what she was wearing out on the runway.

I'm really sick of Daniel already. He acted tonight like he was too good for the challenge and only wanted to do high fashion, but his end result looked like Snow White as a flight attendant. Daniel, you are not too good for sportswear- look at Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors! Sportswear is a part of fashion, even on the runway.

SYTYCD: In short, I thought the girls got shafted with their dance. And I felt sorry for Courtney and Joshua having to do Mia's dance so soon after their tired jive. I can see any of them winning. And I'm basically fine with that, although if I voted I would pick Katee.

PR: WTF? Have these people never watched the Olympics? I think the judges made the right call for top and bottom. I continue to be amazed that Blayne did not land in the bottom three. I don't get him at all. For me, it's not enough to not be boring.

Yeah, I was really hoping he or Kenley would get the boot, though I wasn't sad to see Miss Holly GoDali go.

I'm thus far unimpressed with the designers. Sometimes I wonder if people get in on the strength of their portfolio, which could be full of collaborative work, or work that took months. Then, when it's just them and 6 hours, they can't handle it.

There are no standouts this season yet. I like Terri and Korto, I hate Blayne. I respect that rocker chick is true to her vibe. She's an example of how you can stick to your aesthetic and still work with the challenge. She's landing solid middle these days. I think that she'll go soon because her work isn't strong enough, it's just so far been not as weak as others'.

Jerell didn't fit the challenge, but he did good work. It would have looked ridiculous on the olympic team, but had some good workmanship and design. And he made a hat!

Daniel - oh, dear, it was awful. it wasn't just not good for the challenge, it was just not good. And the color totally read purple on the runway. The jacket didn't matter, it was still horrible.

Surreal chick - maybe if she had added some red it wouldn't have been so bad. The skirt was well made, and I liked the gold stripes idea. It did not at all say US.

Machine Cry Baby - dude, let it go. Say something about "hey, you should check before you rethread a machine" But for him to whine about it when you could clearly see at least 4 unused machines in the room was just annoying. And I really didn't appreciate his "there's too many queens" comment. And, a skort? Our own meara once call it The Unholy Alliance. Plus, his skort didn't fit right, the shorts were much shorter than the skirt part, which looked bad.
