"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm thus far unimpressed with the designers. Sometimes I wonder if people get in on the strength of their portfolio, which could be full of collaborative work, or work that took months. Then, when it's just them and 6 hours, they can't handle it.

There are no standouts this season yet. I like Terri and Korto, I hate Blayne. I respect that rocker chick is true to her vibe. She's an example of how you can stick to your aesthetic and still work with the challenge. She's landing solid middle these days. I think that she'll go soon because her work isn't strong enough, it's just so far been not as weak as others'.

Jerell didn't fit the challenge, but he did good work. It would have looked ridiculous on the olympic team, but had some good workmanship and design. And he made a hat!

Daniel - oh, dear, it was awful. it wasn't just not good for the challenge, it was just not good. And the color totally read purple on the runway. The jacket didn't matter, it was still horrible.

Surreal chick - maybe if she had added some red it wouldn't have been so bad. The skirt was well made, and I liked the gold stripes idea. It did not at all say US.

Machine Cry Baby - dude, let it go. Say something about "hey, you should check before you rethread a machine" But for him to whine about it when you could clearly see at least 4 unused machines in the room was just annoying. And I really didn't appreciate his "there's too many queens" comment. And, a skort? Our own meara once call it The Unholy Alliance. Plus, his skort didn't fit right, the shorts were much shorter than the skirt part, which looked bad.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I liked the way he used the red and blue to highlight the outfit, but that skort had to go. Surely he knew that the flap was a good three inches too long?

Also, the sleeveless top on Terri's model was a little too tight, I think.

I thought I saw the torso version of muffin top, and thought, "Well, if a model can get that effect from that tube top, it's waaaay too tight."

Loved Korto's outfit--those pants were wonderfully summery and the lightweight leather accents were perfect.

Punishingly Intricate

I wasn't crazy about Korto's leather vest but I'm okay with her win. I LOVED Terri's blazer. And, even though it didn't fit the challenge at all, Jerrell's hat.

And I really didn't appreciate his "there's too many queens" comment.

uh no. Way to be an ass.

I think I'm giving Kenley more breaks than she deserves because of her personal style. I really adored the little green sweater she was wearing at judging last week. ridic, I know.

Stella's too - if you can make one of those girls look lumpy, no real women are ever going to go there.

They didn't ding her on it in the broadcast, but I wouldn't be surprised if the fit on that top was what made the difference between Terri and Korto.

That skort was so misproportioned it looked like she was wearing an apron. A vinyl apron.

Her personality is starting to overcome that, however.

Oh, yeah, I also empathize with her being a loud laugher. I've been teased about that before in my life too.

I think if they're going to boot Jennifer because she couldn't separate her personal taste from what the challenge requires, they're going to have to do that for Stella sooner rather than later. She's going to have to expand her look eventually, otherwise she's outta there.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Not necessarily - I mean, Uli and Ravi never did.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I thought that either Korto or Terri could have won and I'd be happy.

I leaned toward Terri, but I liked both her and Korto a lot. I really want Terri to start getting some props, because she's been good every time out of the gate. She may be my current choice to win, with Korto second.

Not the same thing though - Stella's still been trying to fit her aesthetic into the challenge, rather than simply doing whatthehellever and calling it an interpretation.

Also what Victor said re Terri.
