It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

All my money is on Big Pasty for the boy boot. I don’t think the show is quite ready to let go of Comfort, so I think it’s be bye bye Chelsea this week and we’ll get our first non-couple boot. Sadly, I don’t think Comfort and Thayne will make a good pair.

I don't want to lose Chelsea, or Comfort (though she really showed her limitations this week). For sure Kourtni will be in bottom three. I like the idea of her and Matt but I would lose her before Comfort or Chelsea.

Hey, I didn't know that "Secrets of a Restaurant Chef" starts this weekend!

Cool.

Aww, I can feel the love tonight.

I don't want to lose Chelsea, or Comfort (though she really showed her limitations this week). For sure Kourtni will be in bottom three. I like the idea of her and Matt but I would lose her before Comfort or Chelsea.

Well, I have no love lost for the Kourtni/Matt pair, but I think that even if she lands in the B3 there's no way that the judges would boot her. Nigel's been slobbering all over her since the audition rounds and his pants tend to rule the day. And technically she is a miles better dancer than Chelsea from what's been on display thus far. And in the battle of the solos, though neither one's was very good, Kourtni's first DoD was better than Chelsea's tighty whitey nightmare, even with the falling out of turns and arabesques.

On Shear Genius

Thank goodness Oshun is gone! And I must admit that I had a moment while watching of thinking, "Why'd it have to be the black one? Dr. Boogie last year and now this?" You know, there are good black stylists out there.

I am loving Mr. Dallas Hairspray. He's fun. But I thought both Betty Boop hairstyles were tons better than anything that made top 3.

I watched SYTYCD on Eastern time this week, which was very exciting! Also, not in a hotel room, but in a proper house, with people i knew! Turns out my sister usually watches with friends of hers (who I've met many times over the years) and they, of course, have TiFaux. So we watched, and exclaimed, and loved. I adored Courtney's only half-there dress.

And Mark should apparently ALWAYS wear a suit. Damn. I was so annoyed with Tabitha and Napoleon after the silly jail outfit routine that was first, and then they pull THAT out, and i LOVED it. And I was like "What the hell, Tabitha and Napoleon?? Why not pull more of those out, and I won't be talking shit about you?"

I think the costuming department screwed over Uma and Matt tonight though, after doing them so well for the Foxtrot last week.

I also really enjoyed Joshua and Katee. Not because they were necessarily allllllll that amazing (though they were good!), but because I love me some Joshua. And because of the smolder. Damn.

And Will. Because as Mary (?) said, he just throws himself into it. Even if they screwed up some of the lifts and stuff, in all the cheese-tastic disco moves, he is the only person I've seen who really looked like he was meant to be doing all that, and enjoying himself. He was awesome.

Basically, I want to see Chelsea dance with someone else--I liked her so much the first week, I want some of that back, and can't figure out how.

I want to see Comfort dance with someone else.

And the rest of the girls, I can pretty much take or leave, I think....Courtney is kinda cute. Eh.

And then I"ll keep Mark, Joshua, Will, and Twitch.

Somehow, though, I don't think I'ma get lucky like that.

SYTYCD thoughts:

Still waiting to see Kherington dance in heels.

Still waiting to see the judges call out a choreographer, any choreographer, for what has been a pretty uninteresting season so far.

Still waiting for them to get back to using music appropriate for the dance. Marilyn Manson for "African" Jazz?!? I swear that routine would have looked 100% better with the right music.

Enough with Tabitha and Napoleon already. I believe they've done at least 5 routines in just 3 episodes. And, when most of your hip hop can be described with the same terms used for a Mia Michaels routine, it's time to move on.

Favorites: Kourtni/Matt, Chelsie/Mark, Katee/Joshua
My bottom three: Kherington/Twitch, Chris/Comfort, and Chelsea/Thayne, although I would love for it to be Will/Jessica 'cause I'm tired of them being overpraised every week and she is my least favorite woman. I want her and Chris gone.

30 Days: I have to say I'm very disappointed with this one. I think they both made a mistake by being so confrontational right away. The couple would have been much better off to not quiz that woman the first day. Not that she helped things in any way... "I'm so sad for these foster kids, la la la, but it doesn't matter if we don't allow "the gays" to adopt these foster children, I'm sure "real couples" will just appear to take care of them.

It's like people that think restricting sex ed, birth control, and abortion rights will magically make kids stop having "the sex".

Also, you don't understand why they can't be friends with someone who doesn't think they are fit to be parents? Really?

How much does it crack me up that the first Shear Genius 2 challenge is basically a cosplay challenge?
