Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

SYTYCD thoughts:

Still waiting to see Kherington dance in heels.

Still waiting to see the judges call out a choreographer, any choreographer, for what has been a pretty uninteresting season so far.

Still waiting for them to get back to using music appropriate for the dance. Marilyn Manson for "African" Jazz?!? I swear that routine would have looked 100% better with the right music.

Enough with Tabitha and Napoleon already. I believe they've done at least 5 routines in just 3 episodes. And, when most of your hip hop can be described with the same terms used for a Mia Michaels routine, it's time to move on.

Favorites: Kourtni/Matt, Chelsie/Mark, Katee/Joshua
My bottom three: Kherington/Twitch, Chris/Comfort, and Chelsea/Thayne, although I would love for it to be Will/Jessica 'cause I'm tired of them being overpraised every week and she is my least favorite woman. I want her and Chris gone.

30 Days: I have to say I'm very disappointed with this one. I think they both made a mistake by being so confrontational right away. The couple would have been much better off to not quiz that woman the first day. Not that she helped things in any way... "I'm so sad for these foster kids, la la la, but it doesn't matter if we don't allow "the gays" to adopt these foster children, I'm sure "real couples" will just appear to take care of them.

It's like people that think restricting sex ed, birth control, and abortion rights will magically make kids stop having "the sex".

Also, you don't understand why they can't be friends with someone who doesn't think they are fit to be parents? Really?

How much does it crack me up that the first Shear Genius 2 challenge is basically a cosplay challenge?

'Til we dance away...

I'm ready to be done with Jessica and Kourtni. Both of them seem heavy on their feet, and I blame Jessica for the lack of flow in her dance tonight. It looked to me almost like she was adding in little extra steps in between "tricks" to try and keep up.

I'm a total Gev/Courtney shipper. Sorry, Courtney's boyfriend.

I haven't liked Jessica in any of her dances. And now that I re-watched the Vegas episode and realized she was the other half of the contentious group choreography duo, and, more importantly, in the role of the "this other guy is causing a problem (because he's not doing what I what to do)" bitch, I have zero sympathy for her. Zero.

I think that Comfort's partner is dragging her down. I think that she did a good job tonight.

Loved Joshua and Katee, their routine was great and my GAWD, that ass and those thighs in the pants!!!!!

I think that it's not so much that I dislike the contemporary, it's that I dislike the music. I found Courtney and Matt interesting and visually pleasing.

SOMEONE PLEASE FIRE THE COSTUME DESIGNER. thank you.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Dear SYTYCD contestant with my name: Please stop sucking! It makes reading this thread a festival of unfun double-takes!

I really need to catch up on Shear Genius and 30 Days.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

SYTYCD: I loved Gev and Courtney's routine, but I was surprised no one called them on the opening few seconds, because I thought it was obvious that Gev clearly wasn't confortable/confident with the move, even though they pulled it off.

Like Vortex, I want Comfort to get a better partner, but the same goes for Chelsea.

I really liked the disco number. Unreasonably so, probably. Was I the only one who thought that maybe Jessica landed wrong/too hard in the death fall the judges commented on, and it threw her off for a second or two?

Mark in a suit is GUH.

I am still surprised by how much I like Katee and Chelsie. I expected to dislike them both, but I don't.

I expected to dislike Katee after her whining, but she's a good dancer.

i'm not really impressed with Jessica, but i totally said that when the judges were critiquing that particular section. Will definitely dropped the ball her too low.

i'm not sure i actually like Katee, but i adore Joshua. he makes the pairing for me.
