Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Oh, I see what you're talking about, Megan. I never saw the first season. I don't think I even knew it was on!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

And my feeling on the results:

Not surprised by any of the bottom three couples, I assume that the Comfort/Chris bottom is because of him and not her (she was great, and I'm assuming in ZERO danger of going home).

Hot male flamenco dancer who made it to Vegas, eh? Interesting. But why not a partner flamenco dance? I think it would be neat if they showed off dances that they didn't/couldn't have the couples learn, but that are neat.

Solos: I have a hard time judging these individually, especially the contemps, except in comparison to each other, usually. Unless they really are terrible. Susie's was...better than I expected it to be. Which is not saying much. I think boys should not be allowed to dance in cargo shorts. I do think Marquise danced well (better than Chris) (but true, as they judges later say, tricks). But Marquise and Chris, how are cargo shorts (with a belt!!) and a big polo shirt appropriate dancewear? Comfort kicks ASS.

And the judges say?

Girls: OMG, for a second I thought they were sending Comfort home, and I was like "If they keep Susie over her? SERIOUSLY???"

Boys: Marquise? Huh. I'm not sure who I would've really picked. I didn't think he was really great, but I didn't think Chris was great either, this week...

I don't honestly think either of them would've won the show, so does it matter in the long run? But it does mean that Comfort and Chris keep dancing together, and that this is the second week that a pair of partners gets kicked off and we don't even get a shakeup at all. Which is a little annoying. Hrmph.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was hoping Susie and Chris would go, and then we could see Comfort with Marquis. Not that I care about Marquis, but I'm interested in seeing Comfort with someone else.

That's what I was hoping for, for the same reason. Also, because I thought Chris had the weakest solo.

Exactly, Jesse. I get that it's kinda nice to let them have a couple weeks to get some chemistry, and give America people to root for or what the hell ever, but...I really want to see it switched up and see what they can do with other people.

Though I guess that could backfire if you had little bitty Gev or Mark have to dance with ginormo Khortni or however the hell she spells her name (PARENTS! CUT IT OUT!)

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I really think they need to go back to the S1 partner switches every week. I want to see Will with someone other than Jessica ASAP. And Kourtni and Gev would be hilarious. It would be the Ashley/Ricky Tango that got Ricky booted times a million.

But now that we don't even get to see them pulling their dances from a hat, I have my doubts about whether even that's random or they just get assigned styles each week based on the judges' whims.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

kat,

no shit. Damn. Will needs another partner post-haste.

NFNS: I'm so glad they got rid of Nipa! I feel so bad for the low-self-esteem one (Jennifer?), but I do think she can get better. If nothing else, in real TV, you get more than one take, right? And who doesn't love Lisa with sauce all over herself??

I thought it was funny that the caramel fish situation didn't work on this show, either.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

NFNS: I'm so glad they got rid of Nipa!

Oh, whew. I haven't watched yet, but that's a huge relief all the same. She was Not Good.

Anyone in here watching the current season of 30 Days? the hunter-with-vegans episode was much better than I thought it was going to be. I was incredibly impressed with the hunter guy for not punching the santimonious animal rescue woman in the face the second time she called him a Nazi - for me, I don't think she would have been given the second chance.
