Zoe: Planet's coming up a mite fast. Wash: That's just cause, I'm going down too quick. Likely crash and kill us all. Mal: Well, that happens, let me know.

I'm actually not interested in watching the Top Chef Finale. I don't like either of them. Technically, I hate Richard less, but he's been kind of a dick as well (as opposed to Mike's immense dickishness). Eh.

I haven't been interested in Top Chef All Stars since Carla left. I mean, I like Antonia just fine, I suppose, but she was the total default best of who was left and now that I know she's gone?

I'd rather remember the Richard that I liked on his season and through the early part of All Stars and not this thoroughly unlikeable person he's become. And as for Mike I. well I refuse.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

you know what? you all have made a good case that maybe I don't need to watch the finale. It's liberating to realize this.

Jennifer Beals? Wow. It has been a minute.

What do I think about James? I hate him. Thank you for asking, Ryan.

James Durbin/Living for the City/Stevie Wonder – You know, there are other Motown artists besides Stevie and Smokey. And they’re giving this fool a live band? Well, fuck. You know, he can sing. I have to give this twitchy fool his due. It’s just so not at all my thing. At all. I don’t like him. I don’t like his voice. Just no. And ewww. And ugh. And no. But he’s good. That was a well sung rendition of that song. He was in the pocket. The whole time, Randy. The song was the right choice. The vocal was beyond solid. Could not hate this fool more.

Best of the week:

Pia, James (they are even) Lusk and Naima

Worst of the Week:

Thia (always until she goes home), Paul (See: Thia), and Casey (though it pains me, he wasn’t good)

Will go home this week:

Probably not Paul or Thia although both should go before the person who I think will go. That person being Haley.

TC: If I wasn't already going to a finale party, I definitely wouldn't be watching next week. I'm so disappointed.
