Interview with Tom Colicchio, not spoilery for the remaining episodes.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Finally watching Top Chef. So, Mike continues to be a dick, shocker. Of course, as I see the NASSAU yacht club, I wonder if it has any members of color. Padma is the darkest person at the table. Ugh.

I wonder if Isabella is still in DC? If he is, I'm going to go down there and kick his ass in the face! And I hate going to DC!

Yes, he is. I saw him a few months ago. Ugh.

This is some BULLSHIT. Richard disrespected the protein, his lobster was both under and overcooked. BULLSHIT.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Mike's assholishness was on full display this week, for sure.

That said, I think he might have been the only one who didn't have environment related flaws with his food. Antonia had unevenly cooked protein as well, and then of course Tiffany's lukewarm soup.

From the teaser for next week, I'm going to guess (based on pure speculation) that they're giving the winner a slot on the upcoming TC Masters.

Right? I was giving the tv the side eye about this. I mean where are they? Not Montana.

Oh hell yes, I forgot about that. That was an awful lot of white at that table, and I don't mean the linen.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

About 20 minutes, if it's not already too late...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Kent and Vyyxxxiiiin get wiser their second time around and make a smart move -- U-turning the cheerleaders, which takes some guts because they're standing right there.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

U-turning the cheerleaders, which takes some guts because they're standing right there.

It was smart (especially considering what happened to them last time), but damn, so cold!

They got really lucky with that train bunch-up, too.

train bunch-up

That saved their bacon, I think. If they hadn't been able to catch up there, they would have been so far behind even without the penalty, they would have been toast.
