Art Crawl!!!

Mike is an idiot.

Also: everyone was so punchy. Thus the bad jokiness. Loved it.

And the muppets! How could cooking for muppets be anything but a win?!!??

I loved Cookie Monster eating the tablecloth because the scents of cookies were just driving him batty!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

The muppets were adorable (as were all the chef's reactions). I couldn't help but think about the mechanics of the tasting, though.

I was thinking about that while watching. I figure that the muppeteers got to eat the cookies first, and then they filmed the bits with the Muppets going to each chef's station and "tasting" them with Padma.

So worried that Carla would end up going home, whew! Angelo's exit was classy. As much as I didn't like him during his season, compared to Mike I, he's almost likable.

The muppets were fan.tast.ic! The muppeteers are master ad lib-ers. Cookie Monster has always been my favorite and I loved that without the confines of Sesame Street he was able to eat cookies again (and got to say YUK to Elmo's zucchini cookie request). The dissing of Richard's cookies as not-cookies was hilarious.

I cracked up at Bourdain's going straight to parent-teacher conferences from Judge's Table.

Because books.

Elmo's "cow chips" remark was excellent. And Antonia whispering to the others, "Is he saying my cookies look like shit?!"

I was amazed not one of the judges knew about making a grilled cheese with an iron. Even S. was like, "Why is Dale grabbing irons? For the tablecloths?" I said, "Grilled cheese, duh!"

AND he said COOOWWW CHIPS about 4 times... so hilarious!

I was laughing when Dale was grabbing irons, both kids were like WTF?? I told them just wait. I now need to hide my iron so I don't end up with cheese all over it 'cause the 14 year old is dying to try it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

No Survivor chat at all, then?

(No, I don't have anything much to say either at this point in the season. Just curious if anyone else is watching.)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Philip is crazy. Like, separated-from-Coach-at-birth crazy. That's pretty much what I took out of it.

Everything seems geared toward trying to keep Russel and Rob in the game for as long as possible though, which makes me eye-rolly.
