I used all of my 10 votes for Street Corner Symphony, who whiffed a bit on the Beatles but totally nailed CCR. I loved the way they slipped in their group name into the song!

Kathy is me, only I voted online as well...so 20!

Slipping in the group name was cute...and already done by Nota last year.

Much as I love Committed, and I really do, Street Corner Symphony strikes me as more versatile and stronger 'entertainers.' Truth though? Committed has more raw talent.

I must confess to being bummed that OtR was booted. They bombed the Elton medley but I'm not sure anyone could have done that justice.

I wanted SO much to download their Kyrie, but was blocked by having to download the entire night. That blows.

That Mr. Mister song is an important part of my history. The band played at the opening event of the Great Peace March...ahem, 25 years ago. I'm not sure how "Kyrie" related to nuclear disarmament but then again, Melissa Manchester serenaded us with "Midnight Blue", so there you go.

I know most people agree that Jerry Lawson is being carried by the judges for sentimental reasons. But, I have to say, rolling them into the finale was pretty patronizing. I really don't get what the producers meant to get out of that.

(oops, showing my bias about how none of these competitions are free of some sort of rigging...but there you go.)

Regardless, I have loved this season a LOT.

Art Crawl!!!

Why must the Bravo site continue to suck so much?

I listened to Dale's exit interview which was nice but non-controversial and everytime I tried to get to the extended judges' table flash crashed. Annoying.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I just started watching Sing-Off on hulu, and how is Ben Folds so adorable and smart!

Ben Folds is an excellent judge! I actually like all 3 judges!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Nicole is so much better on the UK X-Factor though. I don't know what happened to her between September and now.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I know! I adore Ben Folds. The SO was thoroughly impressed with his music theory knowledge and how well he was able to convey that to the contestants.

Ben Folds is an awesome judge! I like Shawn, too. Nicole grates, but I think that might be because the other two are so good that her occasional detours into moaning and talking about climaxes feels doubly out of place. Whenever she really starts to annoy me, I just remind myself that a)Somebody's got to be the Paula and b) She could be Judge #4, then I feel better.

I'm looking forward to hearing Nicole singing in the finale. (I'll bet she goes with Committed) Last year, when she did "You Don't Own Me" with the Beelzebubs, it blew my mind.

Much as I adore him as a judge, I hope they don't make Ben Folds sing again this year. Last time, it burned.

Look up Nicole Scherzinger and Rent on YouTube. She was phenomenal as Maureen! (Watch both Over the Moon and Take Me or Leave Me).

I'm excited and nervous about the finale! The Sing-Off is way too short.

The Sing-Off is way to short.

That is a bit of what I like about it. It doesn't drag on so there is no time for ugly game playing or fake drama. I love a show that leaves me wanting more.

Thank goodness they've dialed down the 'trauma' aspect of the personal packages to a degree. Yes, the oldster had a rough go and Jeremy from the Street was kicked around by the music business...but last year, the sad story seeking was so melodramatic. It cracked me up that the worst thing they could come up with for the Bubs was that one of them was an only child!

I'll check out Nicole on youtube. Despite the comparisons to Paula Abdul, I'm okay with Nicole's goofiness and she clearly has the talent to back up her position on the panel.

Both Shaun and Ben teach me something each week, but she makes me smile.
