I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I enjoyed Danielle- she really was like a cartoon character in her interviews, and amusing. I was glad to see her perform really well at the end, to see why she was still there.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Very satisfying ep of Survivor. Actual strategizing, two good challenges (well done, Jane!), a fire, and no more Brenda!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Just Desserts: Morgan's been an ass all along, but it this the first time he's been a homophobic ass?

Sadly, not even close. I'm so glad he lost. I hate the way he was treating his sous chef.

Anyone still watching antm?

meara, the daughter and I are still. I thought for sure Kayla would make the final two. I said to my daughter last night that we never have to worry about Ann getting work because ALT loves her look so much, you know he'll get her hired at Vogue.

And WTF was that "motion editorial" last night? It was exactly like a 9th grade media arts project... we laughed so hard.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm watching ANTM too ... and I was kind of cheering for Kayla. I'm all over Ann ... she photographs beautifully, but can't move well and it's not an industry that's kind to shy people (unless, of course, you have ALT pulling you along).

And that "motion editorial" ... seriously! I've seen fanvids that were better done and were less embarrassing!

That was sad. I don't get the love for Ann there, she just looked skinny and awkward, and not even in a good way. I do like most of her photos, but I was hoping for Chelsea/Kayla walk off.

It's sad how much more Chelsea knows about the business than most of their contestants.

Also, how much do I hate the shy=no personality equation? A lot.

The one thing that bugs me about Ann is that she's known all along that ANTM has a runway element, and so far we haven't seen her (or any of the girls except Chelsey) work on their walk. I remember the days of yore when Ms. Jay would work with all the modeltestants. I fear that Ann is gonna tank the Roberto Cavalli show so badly that Chelsey is going to win, and I don't really like her that much.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

ANTM: I'm surprised Ann made it. She has great pics but can't represent well in person. Hard for go-sees and runway.

I really thought it would be Kayla and Chelsey. I'm glad Franca S. thought Kayla was good. Hopefully she'll have a good career.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I knew they were going to take Ann all the way. ALT is in love with her. Tyra, too. It's annoying because clearly she can't walk and I can't imagine her in a Covergirl commercial. But Miss Tyra wants to pretend like she's fancy all of a sudden and Ann is by far the most high fashion of all the girls left. She's got that whole Kristen Mcmenamy, ugly-pretty thing going on. I think she could do well as a print model, but she's hopeless on the runway (and she really is too tall for sample sizes).

The thing about Chelsea is that Tyra was exactly right that if she hasn't popped yet in the industry, she's probably not really likely to. She's just an OK girl and she takes OK pictures. There's not a lot that's special about her. I don't see how she can lose though because Ann can't walk and she can't do commercials. I would've preferred to see a Kayla/Chelsea final.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am really enjoying Fashion Show. I thought it would be too much like PR, but the Houses and the full-on show instead of a runway with just the judges really make a difference. And Iman is a whole lot of awesome, but I expected that.

Eta: that the winners get future advantages is pretty interesting, too.
