As soon as Anamaria started in on the "calorie restricted diet", I knew she was going home. Tyra took so much shit over the commercial where she and the Jays lost their minds over Ann's tiny waist that she needed to use Anamaria as an object lesson about how she, Tyra, Our Lady of Fivehead, is most definitely not about unhealthy body image. Even though this, the high fashion season, is the first season ever that she has not cast at least one plus size girl (who's never more than a size 10-12 anyway). But the fashion industry is all about health, isn't that right DVF? Eh, at least Tyra has given up the jumpsuits.
I'm all about Kendal. She's stunning and funny in her countrified way. I also like Anne and the one lesbian model (forgot her name, but she's a fantastic model). I'm glad Anamaria went home, but Terra should've gone, too. Anamaria might be a bitch, but when she noted that neither of the sisters is model pretty, she wasn't wrong.
Oh I just remembered some Top Chef related gossip. So Timothy Dean, booted early this season, has a restaurant in Bmore. He's been spotted (by my friend once and once by my Bob) driving around in a car with the license plate "Top Chef." wah wah
And he was spotted going into the drivethrough at the McDonalds around the corner from our house.

Also - TC: watched last night. I was watching it and talking to a friend who had seen it the night before: they showed warring clips of Angelo and Ed talking about how each was the other's biggest competition and I said, "Wouldn't be amusing if Kevin won." She was stoic and did not give anything away.
I was happy that Ed wound up with Ilan as his sous chef.
And couldn't believe that Ed was acting like Angelo was malingering when he actually needed the doctor's okay in order to cook.

After all his talk about "I don't care that I have immunity, I want to WIN" the night before, I was really surprised he just assigned the dessert to Ilan with no supervision at all. At least Angelo was giving Hung instructions on what to prep - he wasn't letting him plan the menu!
