As soon as Anamaria started in on the "calorie restricted diet", I knew she was going home.
YES. OMG. ...and yet I wonder, much as she looked heinously skinny and kinda awful, if really the industry would actually hire her.
I didn't realize the other girl was almost as tall as the "giant"! Huh...
Yeah. Love the winning look so much, though!
Me too!! I'd wear the hell out of it. I kind of love MONDO!
Loved Mondo's look. Was expecting Valerie to go not Michael D.
Also - TC: watched last night. I was watching it and talking to a friend who had seen it the night before: they showed warring clips of Angelo and Ed talking about how each was the other's biggest competition and I said, "Wouldn't be amusing if Kevin won." She was stoic and did not give anything away.
I was happy that Ed wound up with Ilan as his sous chef.
And couldn't believe that Ed was acting like Angelo was malingering when he actually needed the doctor's okay in order to cook.

After all his talk about "I don't care that I have immunity, I want to WIN" the night before, I was really surprised he just assigned the dessert to Ilan with no supervision at all. At least Angelo was giving Hung instructions on what to prep - he wasn't letting him plan the menu!
And not supervising Ilan is never a wise move: he could have wound up with chocolate covered chicken livers!
I'm now imagining Eric Ripert's dismay if he had to, once again, taste THAT dish.

Seriously. I was not fan of Angelo's, but I did feel for him. It was painfully obvious he was really really sick.
I kind of love MONDO!
Oh yeah. He's great! Coo-coo and awesome.
PR: Wow, most of them really blew that challenge. I thought Valerie's look could have been better with different fabrics and execution, and it was one of the few that read sportswear to me, so I'm glad she didn't go home. I loved Mondo's look and thought it was exactly the right mix of JK inspiration and Mondo.
