They must be eliminating two next week. I want Nichole to make it to the final. I can't see them eliminating Miles.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I call shenanigans on the Top Chef editors. Why not clear up the case of the puree? I didn't like that they left suspicion over the head of one of the chefs.
Yes, that just isn't right. On the other hand, maybe nobody ever found that puree.
TC's blog is no help. He says they didn't find out about the peas until they saw the episode, and this late date there's no way to determine what happened (he also expressed a thinly veiled complaint that the producers didn't deviate from protocal and do something to resolve the matter). He did make a good point that there are basically three possibilites to what happened, and only one involved foul play.
We saw Serial Killer Alex decide to make the puree and say something to the effect that if it didn't work he'd toss it. So I kind of figured that what would happen was he would toss the wrong puree. But this was just stupid.

Yeah, you know they have footage of Alex either making or taking it.
WoA: Ugh. That Jaclyn made it further with yet another "Here I Am Naked" piece drives me bonkers. But their work was the only decent one there. I think Mark probably should have gone on a talent basis, but how is that piece not Peregrine's fault?

I was furious that she said "You could have given me more to work with," when the whole concept was her idea, and one he clearly said he was uncomfortable with. He did crap work, but I can't blame him when he didn't want to do the piece to begin with.
Jaclyn makes me want to scream. Another naked picture of herself?! Ugh.
Here's why I think he didn't take it - if he had, and there was footage of it, the producers would have had to bring that to the judges' attention because he would have been disqualified for cheating.
Since there wasn't any actual proof of wrongdoing, I think they decided that the "Alex is shifty looking" storyine would play better than the "Ed is a paranoid douchebag" version and showed us that. Blech.
Liked the "Mad World", and would've loved to see the Comfort hiphop with her partnering with someone else. Likewise, Kent is adorable at the Broadway, cause he's allowed to mug, and Spencer (who is also kinda hot?!?) is great...but Jose brought that down for me so bad. Sigh.
After watching the "best" routines from the links above from all the various seasons, and downloading them to my iPod, some of them don't stand up as well as I'd hoped...but others do, and I really want a REAL All Star season. Never happen, but...damn, a few of the dancers every year are amazing. Though it has been interesting to see how some of them, this season, have grown.
And I can't BELIEVE someone else is injured. Good GRIEF, y'all.

I can see your point, but Alex did really look guilty when he was being asked about it, imho.
