Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Boogie Shoes was 2 contestants, not a contestant and an all-star.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Yes. That was commenting on two separate routines, which I totally did not make clear.

And I'm finally on the results show. Opening number not bad, as Tasty Broadway numbers go.

Dear lord, Cat looks like Blair Waldorf.

Could be worse, she could look like Jenny Humphreys. Yes, I'm just going to riff on my own Gossip Girl references.

Now now, it's not very nice of Mary to send 11 yos to show how jive is done.

Did I miss Mary? I did step away for awhile.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think Cat looks divine in that dress and I love it.

I resent the inclusion of All Stars in the opening group numbers, especially when that results in Dom's cheesy mug all up in my grill. Figures Tasty would let him hold center while giving me only a few seconds of Mark.

I think that the choreographers are pushing the kids way too hard this season, but I don't know if that's because of the All Star partners or because the quality of the contestants was so high from the jump this season that they figured they could go hog wild. Normally, there is a lot of dead weight early in the season and you see a lot of watered down versions of the dance styles (the Cedric treatment) and inevitably some of that dead weight makes it pretty deep into the season. But this year, some of the contestants have been on par with the all stars in terms of dance ability at least if not performance quality. So you've given your choreographers a stable of dancers who can flat out go. And they're used to starting at maybe 60 and getting to 100 by seasons end. But with these kids, you can start at 90 and try to find their upper limit. Whatever the reason, all the injuries are not good.

Pretty sure the wee jivers were from Mary's ballroom school. But no, we didn't see Mary.

Kat, I think your point about starting at 90% and trying to find the limit is a good one. The compressed and intense schedule and unfamiliarity with a given movement vocabulary makes it hard and dangerous enough. Ratcheting the skill level to eleven is going to take its toll.

Rachel McLaren proving that sometimes even pros fall out of turns. She was off her game tonight. Jamar Roberts was beautiful. I'm glad they came with a more challenging piece. That showed real respect for their audience. Gotta love Ailey.

Darn it. I think we had a real shot to get rid of Jose if not for Ashley's injury. Doriana ruins everything. Not that I hate Jose, but I'm really tired of watching the judges condescend to him.
