Also the whole sexy duck prep monologue, so skeevy.
OH MY GOD SERIOUSLY. I don't care how good his food tastes, I have completely lost my appetite for it FOREVER. EW EW EW.
I'm disappointed that Tim is gone, but just because I liked him. His food seemed lacking, though.
Yeah, me too. I kept wanting him to do well, but his food never quite got there.
I hope that Angelo was joking with the "I've had crabs" comment. A bad joke is the only way that makes sense.
Which is the one who made minestrone incorrectly? She is the one who cooked chicken with sherry for school children. She needs to go.
Amanda, I think. Who doesn't know minestrone has noodles? That astounded me.
And Tom asking her, "Why do we cut vegetables into equal sizes?" was just embarrassing. Even I know that!
I'm sad that Eric's experience was so horrible. (Too bad he didn't wind up with Ryan and Mark - they also have no patience with Miles.)
And I'm very glad that Nichole's team won. I like Nichole and I thought that team just worked so well together.
Amy - and what about her telling the other cheftestants that she was so concerned with the depth of flavor that she didn't notice that she hadn't chopped all the veggies the same size!!
Amanda will be out soon. She just doesn't pay attention, and it's going to bite her in the ass.
She's reminding me of Leah, too, and I couldn't stand her.
Oh, yeah. Neither could I.
WoA: Eric was in over his head from the beginning but his calling them out on their Art school bullshit was worth it.
Yes. He could have gone long ago, but I always feel bad for the person on the outs--either they don't say anything and get screwed for not stepping up, or they argue their points and get judged "difficult." Because there's always someone like Jaclyn that somehow think it's perfectly acceptable to say "you shouldn't be here" and then don't understand how that is taken negatively.
In all fairness to Jaclyn, he'd said some pretty shitty things about her at crit. him saying that he doesn't think that she's smart enough to sabotage him was an asshole thing to say (although I happen to agree with him, he could have phrased it better).
Unfortunately, while Eric was 100% right, his manifestation of his displeasure was 100% wrong, which made him look bad. He was a bad sport at the end when Peregrine tried to be nice, and he said unkind things about Jaclyn.
