"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

I was so glad Paul went home! He made me want to throw things at the screen! There actually seems to be quite a few decent contenders this year.

Design Star on the other hand, I just don't get. Why do they keep doing group challenges? Have they always done that and I've just forgotten? I'd like to see how these people design as individuals, not how they design as a group (especially with one person steamrolling over the rest - Nina I'm looking at you).

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Color me totally unsurprised that a Comedy Sportz guy came off as overbearing and offputting. I mean, in context it can be great, but it really doesn't translate.

Design Star - they're not even doing the on screen stuff except for the losers. NFNS manages to make that part interesting, DS seems to have just given up.

This season's Design Star is completely underwhelming. The contestants are a fairly uninspiring bunch and the challenges have been ridiculous. I admit I've given up.

I tried to get started with NFNS, but it just seemed so clear that Aarti was ready for her close up while all the rest were less so, to varying degrees. I will be shocked if she doesn't win. Also, I always forget when it's actually on. When does it come on?

Sunday, like everything else in the world. Dunno what time since I usually catch the late night rerun with Tivo.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

oh dear ... I actually watched an episode of "True Beauty" last night. Sad ... just sad.

I have not seen it, but I tend to stay away from anything involving Vanessa Minillo(?). Just a good rule of thumb. I do feel bad for Carson, though. How far he's fallen since Queer Eye.

Sunday, like everything else in the world.

Ain't it the truth. I will have to remember to add it to my DVR because there's no way NFNS will make it into my Sunday night line up.

Because books.

Group challenges bug me even more on NDS than they do on Top Chef or Project Runway.

(especially with one person steamrolling over the rest - Nina I'm looking at you).

Ugh. I can't stand her. One more mural, chickie, and I'm going to throw something at the TV.

The weird thing is, Vern's always driving home how personable and individual they need to be, and he seems so flat and robotic on the show this season. Maybe most people do compared to Genevieve (whom I love!). He seems bored. Not that they're an exciting bunch, though, it's true. Last season with Antonio was so much better.

Wow, they're showing S1 Top Chef all day on Bravo. I haven't seen this in forever! And no Padma! Katie Lee Joel, I had gratefully forgotten how wooden you were.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Damn. I've been waiting for that to come out on DVD forever. That was before I moved here and I really want to see where they go again.
