oh dear ... I actually watched an episode of "True Beauty" last night. Sad ... just sad.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I have not seen it, but I tend to stay away from anything involving Vanessa Minillo(?). Just a good rule of thumb. I do feel bad for Carson, though. How far he's fallen since Queer Eye.
Sunday, like everything else in the world.
Ain't it the truth. I will have to remember to add it to my DVR because there's no way NFNS will make it into my Sunday night line up.
Group challenges bug me even more on NDS than they do on Top Chef or Project Runway.
(especially with one person steamrolling over the rest - Nina I'm looking at you).
Ugh. I can't stand her. One more mural, chickie, and I'm going to throw something at the TV.
The weird thing is, Vern's always driving home how personable and individual they need to be, and he seems so flat and robotic on the show this season. Maybe most people do compared to Genevieve (whom I love!). He seems bored. Not that they're an exciting bunch, though, it's true. Last season with Antonio was so much better.
Wow, they're showing S1 Top Chef all day on Bravo. I haven't seen this in forever! And no Padma! Katie Lee Joel, I had gratefully forgotten how wooden you were.
Damn. I've been waiting for that to come out on DVD forever. That was before I moved here and I really want to see where they go again.
Mark in Tahitian drag with a fake chest tattoo...was someone else on stage with him?
All I saw was a yellow butt.
I saw nothing else but MARK!!!!
what's with Adechike's terrible costuming? Good grief.
I admire Anya for saying with a straight face that this was the hardest Latin routine seen on the SYTYCD stage. You mean, not counting the routine she just did last week with Pasha?
Man, I know the show is about the dancers, but I love Adam Shankman so hard.
