'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I can't say enough nice things about the cowboys. They're a class act, personality-wise AND they're not so much uber-competent as willing to work hard on figuring out the best way to do the tasks, even ones totally outside their experience, like the noodles.

Quick-thinking, too -- Brett ran off after the blowing cards while the cowboy pinned down as many as he could before retrieving any. I guess that rodeo-riding involves a lot of quickly-made decisions, not just hanging on for dear life.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Quick-thinking, too -- Brett ran off after the blowing cards while the cowboy pinned down as many as he could before retrieving any.

Grabbing the folding chairs was brilliant.

And HOLY GOD BRETT, YOU WHINY LITTLE FUCKER. "Wah wah we would have beat them if it hadn't been for the wind." Like the wind didn't blow Jet's cards away too?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Watching Brett's cards blow away made me very happy. And watching his hissy fit about it just cemented it.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

The Cowboys are right up there with the Clowns Jon and Kris and Chip and Kim among favorite teams ever for me. And they keep their cool better than maybe any team ever on the race. I guess when you've faced down death on the back of a steaming mad bull, a few scattered puzzle pieces is not going to faze you. And they always seem to be having so much fun.

Brent and Caite are not even fun to hate. They are annoying and I just really, really want them off of my TV screen. I haven't enjoyed the Cops all that much this season, but I sincerely hope they overcome the speed bump next week and make F3 along with the Cowboys and Dan and Jordan.

I so wish it was Jeff and Jordan instead of Brent and Caite. The cops have alternately grown and soured on me, as have D & J. Team Cowboy all the way at this point.

Because books.

I like the Cops, and can't seem to be annoyed at them. They're like so many men I've known over the years, and they're another team that just seems to have a good time no matter what. The one asking plaintively if they couldn't get a challenge like chasing a crack dealer was hysterical.

The cops are for sure my number two, yeah.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Merle thinks that Tyra is "incredibly intelligent"? I have lost all respect for her.

Punishingly Intricate

I think Tyra made some smart choices on the runway and that's what the judges saw.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I think Tyra made some smart choices on the runway and that's what the judges saw.

That's true. They're not watching the backstage drama, at least not until the show airs. And Tyra's displayed a sort of ... well, let's just call it cunning, and be kind.

Sigh. I'd have been happy with two-thirds of the possible outcomes, and I got the other third. Still, a highly entertaining finale, nonetheless.
