"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

(I still don't understand how they won. For God's sake people, how many times can you watch a damned comic robot routine?).

I know! But Bluprint was canadian, so they may not have gotten the phone support from home.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Apparently it was still a very close vote. I really hated Poroetix. I think Jungle Boogie was robbed.

I didn't hate Poreotix. I appreciated their whimsy, but I thought that Bluprint Crew was a better dance crew, if Poreotix didn't have their isos and popping, they would have been far less strong.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

::sigh:: Silly me, I watch for the tattoo artists and the tattoos.

I have a caught a few episodes, enough to know exactly what you are talking about. I miss the emphasis on the art. If the drama was between the artists, I'd take it a bit better, but over the "office manager" crap. Blech.

I watched ABDC last night and LOVED seeing Jabba and Qwest on stage again. And that kid was AMAZING. He seriously stole Supercrew's show. I missed the last few episodes of ABDC this year, so I hadn't realized Poreotix had won until tonight. I just felt meh about it. I like them, but don't think they come near the other champs.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Vortex, the reason why I hated them is that they seemed to have such a high regard for themselves, when they aren't even close to previous crews who have come before them on the show. They don't seem to be humble enough and so many of their routines had this weird undercurrent of homophobic panic that I wasn't sure what that was about either.

ah, I never watch the interviews. I just fast forward to the routines and sometimes I watch the judges' commentary.

PR: As retro as Mila's clothes were, hers were the ones I'd love to wear, not Jay's, although I did think his were much more forward-thinking. I hope that Mila listens to the judges' advice on her models' looks for the runway at Bryant Park.

yes, that's true. But if this show is about innovation, Jay's clothes clearly one. Project Rungay talked about this, they thought that Nina picked Mila because she was thinking about her readers at Marie Claire and what they would want to see in the magazine. They want to see clothes, not fashion.

Because books.

Jay's may be more forward thinking, but for me they're always over-designed. Every garment has about three too many elements for me. Which could just be personal style, but I think his statements get a little lost when so much is going on.
