oh, and about "Shear Genius":
I am so upset and appalled by the finale results that I am not watching this show again. I feel like the judges spat on me.
Since I didn't care at all, I mostly think it's hilarious that after a season of trying to do nice hair, the last two challenges let Brig do what every crazy-ass shit she could come up with, and get praised for it. So unfair.
It was ridiculous. She didn't do hair! She put stuff on top of hair! Ugh.
I hated this season. They need to get it together, with a consistent host and judges, and some decent challenges and contestants.
EW mentions Pandora Boxx in the Bullseye feature this week. Favorably-- they call her their favorite
Christ, I hope they all get hoist on their sexist-ass petards.
Survivor:
No surprises tonight, I don't think. I'm not quite sure what the person voted out thought would happen, but actions/inactions have consequences and that's that.
but I did get the feeling that the best dish lost.
What did you have pegged as the best?
I agree, a team challenge for the first round is bizarre. I wasn't even able to get a good sense of what each chef's style is, which ais a big part of the fun for me.
What did you have pegged as the best?
The duck breast dish seemed to get the most positive comments, and I don't remember a single negative one.
They didn't like that you had to use a knife and fork to eat the duck leg in the bowl. I remembered that one because it would have irritated me too.
Yes, that would have been irritating. Either smaller chunks of duck or large, flat bowls.
That was the other duck dish though, right?
