They didn't like that you had to use a knife and fork to eat the duck leg in the bowl. I remembered that one because it would have irritated me too.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Yes, that would have been irritating. Either smaller chunks of duck or large, flat bowls.
That was the other duck dish though, right?
Oh, you're right.
BTW, I read that the next season of Top Chef is going to be filmed in DC.
That was the other duck dish though, right?
Right. I was rooting for that team because I love Ana Sortun's food at Oleana. However, the judges were right about the whole duck breast in a bowl, though both dishes sounded absolutely nummy. I didn't so much agree about it being too casual a dish, but, then, I strongly favor flavor over presentation. You can't eat presentation.
No PR talk?
I loved Emilio's dress like whoa. So clearly circus-inspired but it actually looked like something I would wear. Not real surprised by the top three.
I was surprised that Mila made it into the top three, but I can see the justification for the designer shoot-out between her and Jay.
Looking forward to the collections.
I couldn't figure out who the 3rd was going to be - so it makes sense that there was a tie.
Emilio's dress was amazing. And I love the whole fabric concept. Plus, bonus points for his model not looking like a ringmaster.
I think the results are exactly right. Anthony was really disappointing last night and I really couldn't decide between Mila and Jay.
