That Govin guy was really an arrogant jerk, wasn't he?

yes, he was. I wanted to like him, but no.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I read the behind the scenes article at AI - on the ew.com web site and apparently Kara was pleading for them to use the save to keep Mike. She was gesticulating and getting all hot and bothered over it.

So it seems she was pushing for them to keep him. Or, it all could be theater.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

oh, and about "Shear Genius":

I am so upset and appalled by the finale results that I am not watching this show again. I feel like the judges spat on me.

I usually can take results of show and not like them and move on, but I stopped watching "Big Brother" and I'm going to stop watching this show too.

No redeeming value.

I have no doubt that Kara loves her some Big Mike. After all, he brought her to tears the first time he sang This Woman's Work, and last night he sang it even better than in the semi-final rounds. I just don't think he's ever going to be your next American Idol. I read a couple of other AI boards (Shocking, I know!) and opinion on him is decidedly split. There are those that like him, but a ton of folks just can't get over the cheese factor.

I wish I'd been there this week instead of for the Demi/Miley/Joe Jonas fiasco.

Comfort was really the best choice for hip hop girl. She is serious. I wish we could get Josh as well, but I don't think we'd get Twitch and Comfort and Joshua. Season 4 overload.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Since I didn't care at all, I mostly think it's hilarious that after a season of trying to do nice hair, the last two challenges let Brig do what every crazy-ass shit she could come up with, and get praised for it. So unfair.

Because books.

It was ridiculous. She didn't do hair! She put stuff on top of hair! Ugh.

I hated this season. They need to get it together, with a consistent host and judges, and some decent challenges and contestants.
