Shit's all sorts of different now.

Jonathan Antin has a lot of nerve to come down so hard on one of these stylists considering he DOES ONE HAIRCUT EVER.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

ANTM - why is every challenge or photo shoot involving Nigel filled with watch from the hall moments?

I feel like the posing is super duper boring this season.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

TCM - Hated hated HATED that the chefs had to win as a team. Unless all the other cheftestants have to win as a team it's blatantly unfair.

Granted, the homegirl I was rooting for wouldn't have won solo either, but I did get the feeling that the best dish lost.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I don't understand the reasoning behind the team concept, especially since they've never worked together before.

I thought that it was really hilarious that govin had a crush on Susan when he was a teenager.

Because books.

S. and I were just saying that was really weird. Also not how they did it the first time around.

Jason Derulo. Wow. You need those studio pro tools, baby. Of course, Judge #4 had something to do with unleashing you on the world.

I wasn't surprised at all by the AI B3, a little but surprised by the B2. And since I'm unspoiled for once, I'm looking forward to the shocker. On a whole other note, D'Archie!!! He went to school on that fool, Aaron. The fool still has a lovely voice. And I'm still convinced he's part Teletubby.

Y'all, I love Rhi-Rhi so much. I can't even explain it. The PVC catsuit alone was worth the price of admission. Shame about the song. I kind of saw what she was going for - kind of Janet in Dr. Feelgood mode. Of course, Dr. Feelgood is actually a kickass song whereas Rhi-Rhi's song is not. But still, do your thang, girl.

And yes, Andrew getting past Big Mike was surprising. Never underestimate the YouTube vote, I guess. And I do think that we'll never have another black, male AI winner, for lots of reasons, and if we ever do get one, he won't be as cheesy and old fashioned as Big Mike. Also, I hated Big Mike last night a whole lot. So hmm, maybe not that surprising once you think about it. I'm not surprised that they used the save on him either. He's actually a lot like the goat voice vibrato boy who got the save last year - a slightly above average R&B singer doing what passes for soulful on this show. The judges like him much more than the public seems to. They share a love of dressing in the Timberlakian manner, probably even shop JT's clothing line. Both of their names even start with "M". Y'all, has anyone ever seen Matt and Mike in the same room?

Sigh. We get to see them all again next week. Yay? At least Glambert will be back to sprinkle a little magic fabulosity into the proceedings. Katie's dropped jaw at the announcement was probably the only time I've related to her. I feel you, girl.

ANTM: Dude, D-Nice! Taking out you suckers and you don't know how I did it. I wish Tyra had let him be a guest judge. I continue to love Alasia. I also love how much ALT loves Alasia. Anslee, however, can go home anytime.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

kat,

Big Mike is one of the better things in a terrible season. I think the judges are like "fuck it, let's try to get rid of Aaron and/or Tim next week. We can only do this if two go at a time." Aaron was so bad, I just don't know how he was safe.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, I am laughing so hard at the Shear Genius finale.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

TCM: That Govin guy was really an arrogant jerk, wasn't he? (Although I did love his teenaged crush on the other chef.) According to him, if you don't actually make a hot dish, you're not really a chef? Ripping his partner just because he was making a cold dish was stupid.
