They are stupendous with the ropes, nobody can argue that.
True. But they've hit the point where they're missing with the ropes, too. Either they miss or they reduce their routine to really simple stuff with the ropes. Either way, they're not at the level of dance as the other crews, and the other crews aren't at the level of former crews.
(JC's also warned them that their dancing is too basic, although not in so many words.)
I love JC's assessment so much. He gives better critique than what's available on most of these shows. The bit where he was asking the crews to do more than "1 & 2 &," telling them they needed to come off the eighth note choreography, that was really astute. And I wish more of the crews had responded to that.
As an aside, I'm glad that Jungle Boogie did well dancing to Jungle Boogie. It's only right.
Oh! And how funny was Mamacita's reaction shot, ribbing JC when Omarion said "in sync" in his critique. Hee.
The Heroes need to vote out Rupert. He seems to be the driving force behind voting out the strong players and so they keep losing.
I don't know if Tom and Colby could have managed to get Candice and JT to go for that but Rupert keeps harping on the loyalty no matter what.
In Survivor if your loyalty keeps you going to the Tribal Council and your tribe keeps losing it's STUPID.
At least Jeff called them on it.
I'm still shaking my head over the fact the "villans" decided anyone who went for the Immunity Idol was marked and the "heroes" all went for it willy nilly.

ooh. that was super sweet.
heads up for those who were ready to give up on AI this year. my boy, David Cook, will be performing on wednesday night. probably the only thing that will get me to watch. this season has been truly terrible.
Watched PR late last night: I'm glad Jonathan won and it makes sense to me that Amy was safe and Ben was gone.
I have to admit that I had trouble seeing the elements each designer was supposedly inspired by in the clothing that they produced.
tiggy, okay I will watch on Wednesday, but I make no promises for the future.

Yeah, Maya's was the only one that really was evocative for me, the rest required explanation.
I don't know -- once I saw the black and gray Anthony had, I got smoke, and I think it translated pretty well in the finished dress. And I think Jonathan's air was pretty clear.
Overall, though, it wasn't a great challenge. Or I should say it didn't produce great results.
