B) The final challenge changed - I want the final 3 to be sent home with their 12 looks from the season, $3000, and told to make the 12 pieces they've already made into a cohesive line.
oooh, this is good! I don't know if it can work, with the wackiness of the challenges in the season. for some people, it would be easy, like Laura. She designed consistently, and maintained an aesthetic throughout the season. Other designers have been all over the place.
Was I the only one who was appalled at all of the designers who thought that Johnny should make it to Bryant Park? he threw some shit on the runway in multiple challenges. Does anyone else think that people were suggesting him because they thought that they could beat him?
Ooh, that is a good final challenge. It would also give them time to find more appropriate material and fix any craftsmanship concerns.
And I agree -with more consistent judging Christopher would have been out of there weeks ago.
The only problem I can see with that final challenge is that the point of the Bryant Park show isn't just the judges, it's also a chance to show off a collection to potential buyers. Getting to that point is a huge part of why people participate in the show to begin with.
Right. There will be people there who don't watch Project Runway, plus being a designer will get you into events where you can meet people and network.

Yeah, to do a final challenge like that, the challenges all through would have to be designed to leave room for a consistent theme or color palette or something. And nothing made out of tablecloths or coffee filters or whatever. Not that I would mind that, but then again some really interesting garments have come out of the weirdest challenges.
Christopher's crying over his choosing unusual inspirations was driving me bonkers. Didn't he see Season 2, when one of the guys chose a puddle flowing into a storm drain for inspiration? Now, that's unusual!

and made a kickass dress as I recall. All grey and glittery.
I literally feel out of my chair laughing at Christopher. I thought it was the fuinniest thing I've seen on TV in ages.
I was so annoyed when he started crying. I hate the cryers. I get that you're all into your art and shit, but godddamit, be a professional! There's no crying in baseball OR fashion.
What was sad was Christopher's dress could have worked if he hadn't used that stiff fabric for the skirt. Who sees a waterfall and thinks, "Ooh, something heavy! Something that doesn't move!" He should have used really filmy silk or something that would *ripple*.
