The only problem I can see with that final challenge is that the point of the Bryant Park show isn't just the judges, it's also a chance to show off a collection to potential buyers. Getting to that point is a huge part of why people participate in the show to begin with.

Yeah, to do a final challenge like that, the challenges all through would have to be designed to leave room for a consistent theme or color palette or something. And nothing made out of tablecloths or coffee filters or whatever. Not that I would mind that, but then again some really interesting garments have come out of the weirdest challenges.

What was sad was Christopher's dress could have worked if he hadn't used that stiff fabric for the skirt. Who sees a waterfall and thinks, "Ooh, something heavy! Something that doesn't move!" He should have used really filmy silk or something that would *ripple*.

One thing that really bums me out about this season is the lack of color. Barring a few pieces in a few challenges, everything's been greys, blacks, beiges.
I actually liked Christopher's dress last night. Althea made another hot mess. I also didn't get how Carol Hannah's dress was "well made". I'm happy she got through, but I thought her model looked all bumpy and lumpy coming the runway.
