"We have trust issues." Mylar

I think the poker players have figured out the brothers are gay. The way they said the brothers were hot makes me think they have a concrete idea that they have no chance

I sincerely hope this is true. Honestly, how many matching shorts and passport holders do these boys need to sport before you buy a clue?

I was wondering the same thing. She did say in their opening interview that she never did any outdoor activities, or something very close to that. If she has a fear of heights and also can't swim? Yeah, I don't even know what to say about that.

Is this the first time someone has refused to complete a task? Not attempted it and been unable to complete it, but just flat out refused to even try? Not counting Flo, I guess. That was wild. I thought for sure that we were getting the same fake out we always get where someone goes on and on about how they're not sure they can do "x" and then we come back from the commercial break to find them doing "x".

I'm just saying, what adult do you know who knows how to swim wears floaties? If she doesn't really know how to swim, no wonder she was absolutely freaked out. she still shouldn't have been on TAR though. Didn't she see what happened to the sisters last season?

I sincerely hope this is true. Honestly, how many matching shorts and passport holders do these boys need to sport before you buy a clue?

funny funny shit.

I didn't even know they made them in big girl sizes. Well, now she can use the floaties in the hotel pool while they cool their heels in Sequesterville.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I suppose you may fool yourself that when push comes to shove (in Mika's case, literally) you can do some of the tasks....

But, SERIOUSLY, going into the competition with a crippling fear of heights AND water?

Loved that Tiffany (1/2 of the Poker Girls) could row correctly in the little rubber dinghy, which actually seemed to be just her size for correct operation.

You know, I would have JUMPED at the chance to handle $500,000.00 worth of gold, just to say I DID it. Plus, the math doesn't particularly faze me.

Points to the Gay Bros for bringing a calculator and then actually sharing it. Although, it wouldn't surprise me if Poker Girls could handle the paper calculation. Poker, as a sport, is also about remembering details of cards played and quick calculations of how much to bet and odds.

I think we're well into the Killer Fatigue part of the competition, which explains the lousy performance on some of the tasks -- even Mika's freakout being so bad.

I'm glad the Globetrotters are still in it. I think I'd rather see Pinky and the Brain win (how cool is it that Dad helped son dye his hair? :-)) but at this point I won't be too angry if any of the remaining teams go all the way.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

A side note, does Poker Maria do ANY Roadblocks ever?

I'd need a handy spreadsheet of challenges to figure that out. Do they still have a 50-50 Roadblock rule?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I guess I'm alone in thinking the Globetrotters were over the line in taunting Mika. It was mean and unnecessary. Left a really bad taste in my mouth because up until that point I'd been crossing my fingers hard for them to catch up.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, although I loved that it turned out they could just borrow one from the people there. Thank goodness there are some people on the race who could figure out how easy the calculation was, though.....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Not alone, Jess. It's somewhat mitigated for me, in that they didn't see the previous portion of freak out and how bad it got, but only slightly.
