I really like Elanore, she looks like she has a lot of personality and I loved her solo it was funny and told a story. I really cant' wait to see her in choreography.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
SYTYCD: I'm already annoyed by FOUR out of the ten girls. That's definitely not a good sign - the one who cries and goes high pitched, Ashleigh and the two "bestest friends and omg!they're going to make us go last because we're so close and it would kill us to be torn apart!"
As for the guys, the only one I fear is Legacy. I have fears that he's the next Evan - he'll struggle with other styles, but have the teen vote.
LOVE Russell and Billy! I'm nervous about the pair ups!
the one who cries and goes high pitched, Ashleigh
OMG. Word. That was SO annoying. I wanted to kill her to make the pain stop.
SYTYCD: Yeah, right? Because your story about your bff you met this week is the most compelling tv we could muster. Oh, no wait, we're going to separate a married couple who clearly have vastly different talent levels. I can't stand Ashleigh and I hated the manipulation anyway.
I was so pissed that they dropped the "dead eyes" girl. I thought her performance was one of the most compelling I'd seen, and I think they were misinterpreting her expression. Now, obviously I didn't see all of her work in Vegas, so maybe I'm missing it, but to me she was clearly more skilled than at least a few of the girls who survived.
On the guys side, I was happy to see most of them through. I like Legacy okay, because that one move he has is sick. And I think he's trying really hard. But I figure he'll go the way of Cute!Tony and pretty quick.
Sad to see they missed out on the shorts ballet guy.
Agree about Elanore. Yay for Russell and Billy.
I also agree that a lot is about to be made or lost in the pairings. There are some that really won't work well together, I fear.
Aw, Cute!Tony.
Wow -- I'm watching Mary Murphy on Ellen, talking about her abusive marriage. Intense.

I hate that they gave Ashleigh the last spot. The fact that this no dancing clown is replacing Paula Van Oppen (who is amazing) is criminal. They should have brought back Amber (the girl they claimed lacked performance quality) instead. I think the only reason that they didn't was that with Bianca, Arianna and Eleanor, they are already at their black girl quota for the season. Bleagh. Molly and Noelle can go far, far away, too. The two of them are just exhausting. I'm trying to reserve judgement on the high talker because the little snippets of her dancing that I saw, I really liked. I'll just pray that they don't let her talk much.
On the boys side, I'm happy with most of them. I could've done without Peter Sabasino because Phillip seems to be so much better than him and I don't get why they need two boy tappers. And Legacy seems like this year's Cedric, but he may surprise me and wind up as this year's Gev, in which case, I'd be happy. Losing David (yellow shorts ballet boy) is still bullshit. He's phenomenal and would've been a better pick than either Peter or Legacy, IMHO.
I wish there were heights posted. They do a lot of height-based pairing in the first set, especially with anyone who is unusually-heighted.
This. Ever since the Ricky/Ashley tango fiasco, they have done all that they can to match by height in the first pairings. Most of the guys this year seem pretty tall, though. I think Legacy is probably the shortest, so they shouldn't have too many match up issues.
OMG, thank god Jen didn't go home!
woman in front of house that doesn't lose her mind and freak the fuck out.
STEPHANIE!!!! I have the mad Stephanie love. I have all her trading cards!
What's this now?!
It's in this week's Us or similar -- apparently she was married for years to a guy who beat the shit out of her, raped her, etc. She finally went to her parents, and they were like, you have to make this marriage work. Poor thing. It actually makes me think that's why she's so much with the manic laughter.
