SYTYCD: Loved last night!! Someone over at TWOP said what I was thinking about Russell and his real level of training/non-training, that he probably originally thought he had some training after picking up a few classes here and there, but after talking with his fellow dancers in Vegas, rethought his definition of "training" to be intensive study. Either way, I'm just delighted that he's still there and still dancing terrifically.

Also nice to see other hip-hoppers doing well in the other styles! Here's hoping we get some good hip-hoppers instead of the Phillip type (good in his style, bad in others).

Great to see Phillip Attmore (tapdancer, young Belafonte lookalike) still around!! I've been hoping to get more backstory on him, but nada so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he makes it to the final 20, as well as Bianca and the oh-so-cute girl with the adorable bob and lively face (cannot remember her name for sure--Eleanor??). She was really impressive in the Sweet Charity number (speaking of, can Tyce rip off Fosse any more?).

Librarian Warlord

it appears that Mia Michaels has resigned from SYTYCD.

I'm trying to decide if I'll miss her. I certainly think they need to get some fresh faces in for choreography.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

this is an interesting development. I wonder what happened. She likely got fed the fuck up by something.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have to laugh at the judges on PR going on and on about how Christopher's look was so TASTELESS and TRASHY and they wouldn't put a chorus girl in it and also how he was so stupid to have put out a look that CA had already done before.

Good god, the judging on Project Runway is WHACKED this season. WTF?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

That was a WHACK decision.
