I didn't really like Danny, but the guys were really weak in S3. And I really liked Courtney by the end of S4, but how could I pick her over Chelsie or Katee? Joshua/Mark was sort of a toss up, both so different.
Looking at past seasons, I think the biggest final four crimes were Allison, Will, and maybe Janette.
I like your list. And yeah, I tried to steer away from winners, so no Benji and no Joshua which just killed, but they've been to the mountaintop already. I feel you on the S4 girls. I was actually between Katee and Courtney (because I could never give up Chelsie. The feet!) Same thing with S2 girls, I went with Allison and Natalie, but that means I left off Donyelle and Heidi. The horror!
I didn't really like Danny
I see the words but I have no idea what they mean. He's my absolute favorite dancer from any and every season of this show. Just breathtakingly beautiful.
I would love to see a Danny, Will, Blake, Travis, Brandon group dance. Throw in the ballet boy who couldn't get out of his Miami City Ballet contract for this season, and I think I might die of happiness.
New SYTYCD game: name the Worst Dance Ever, off the top of your head. We've seen a lot of sad quicksteps and snore-worthy Viennese waltzes, but hands down the biggest train wreck I can think of is the Mark and Kherington cowboy-themed Western Swing, or whatever that was. Anybody remember that horror? Mark was game, but Kherington was Terrible, and kept missing handoffs.
Phillip and Jeanine's Russian folk dance was up there.
Mia's flower dance and that last paso doble this season.
I'm with Kathy. That has to be the top 10 WORST. Doriana and Tyce have had some poopers, and Dan Karaty had some bad hip hop, but I cannot remember them as vividly as that Russian folk dance.
Season 1 probably had some pretty bad ones, but I can't remember specifics. I agree that the Russian folk dance was probably the worst, although the flower dance was pretty bad.
I just did my customary re-run through of the season (except the first episode which was pre-DVR). With my new DVR (thanks Omnis!), I can cut whatever I don't want out and re-save the season as one long episode.
There weren't many I didn't want to see again, except that night that they did two and Randi and Evan had hip hip and samba. That was bad. Also, I really wish Jeanine had had a better partner to start; I didn't save any of her early dances except "Love Lockdown".
Season One had some awful clunkers, most especially with Allen - there was a hip hop with Snow (maybe?) that was just god awful and a toy soldier themed contemporary with Melanie. Bleagh. I'm remembering a Ben/Ashley (the popper with the bowler hats) disco by Doriana from S2, I think, that introduced her now infamous cunniliftus and that was nasty. Dmitry and Joy did a hip hop in S3 by Shane that sucked tremendous amounts of ass. S3 also had the Dead Daddy Dance (AKA Mia's flower routine) which I hated and the kiddie porn Kam/Lacey hip hop by Dan Karaty which featured Kam's whole entire face in Lacey's crotch as she popped like a video ho in a Lil John video. Wrong on many, many levels. In S4, I would definitely cosign on Mark and Kherington's country two step horror show. Twitch and Kherington had one of the worst tango's ever and the Twitch/Chelsie hip hop from the finale was maybe the worst finale routine of all time save Tasty's Broadway number for Donyelle and Heidi in S2. This season, Tasty's first Broadway number for Asuka and Vitolio was not of the lord and the Russian dance, as has been mentioned, was a travesty. I have to throw in NappyTab's hip hop for Evan and Randi where she was an unwed pregnant hip hopper and they danced to Beyonce's Halo. Gross and wrong.
So much hating, so little time.

In other reality news, I'm catching up on Big Brother, and could literally not hate Ronnie more. And I'm surprised the Russell is growing on me.
